Awful experience after awful experience here. Used to be a daily visitor here with my small business but opt for the Babylon office instead whenever possible. Counter worker Mike is the only competent worker of the bunch. Always a long line of people that ALL seem to know how terrible the place is. Counter worker Linda is so lacking in competence or any reasonable speed, its almost impossible to believe she retains employment. Seems everyone has called in complaints about her, yet nothing is ever done. If she DOES get you alone quietly in the office, she will attempt to turn you on to a Jehovahs Witness website - cant believe THATS never been addressed with her. Supervisor Leah is also shake-your-head terrible as she attempts to address any customer complaints (Ive witnessed this numerous times without personally experiencing it) by blaming the customer. Shes made it an art form of spin. It is beyond belief that the USPS takes no action on this unit despite the plethora of complaints people seem to submit on them.

Never had anything but trouble here. They lost several packages and the people are incompetent. I had to ask several times for them to look in the back for a package before he actually did and it turns out it was there after insisting it wasnt and this happened with every item I ever had shipped here and several I never received at all even after several months. Turns out they sent the items back. Not to mention the manager here is one of the rudest people Ive ever met. Completely unprofessional. I spent 6 months here and I will NEVER go back. Going back to Centereach. I spent 3 years there and the people are phenomenal. Theyre worth the drive over this trash.

I am not happy with this post office for the last 13 years. I run a small business and ship with the post office every day. They are the slowest people, besides Mike without him at the counter is a disaster. There could be 3 people ahead of me with the woman behind the counter. There is usually 20 min wait. Dozens and dozens and dozens of times I had to leave and go to the Bayshore post office where those people are amazing. There could be 10 people in front of me and I am out in less than 10 mins. You need better people behind the counter its very frustrating how slow they are especially the woman

I hate to join the pile on here but this facility is the pits. I believe the problem is more of a management issue than an employee problem. Management HAS to know that the line is out the door, and only one line is manned, I recently got into a whizzing match with the postmaster who refused to refund $20.00 on an overnight letter I sent, which took 4 days to reach its destination when it was guaranteed 1 day delivery. I took the paperwork to Babylon and was promptly and politely issued a refund. I look forward th the day when the post office goes out of business and is taken over by Amazon.

Highly recommend using the Babylon post office over this one. Gave them a package that needed to be sent back and they lost it, which ultimately resulted in me losing money. Do not go here.

Made arrangements to have someone home to sign for a package, but the carrier never knocked. He just left a note. Now I wont get the package until Saturday when Im off. PAIN IN THE AZZ
