Look at Yelp for more reviews! Im just going to copy-paste my Yelp reviews on here about this excuse of a post office. First Review: Rude clerks! I just moved here from San Antonio, Texas and I was just appalled! The clerk pretended I wasnt there anymore after he told me my package wasnt there and told me to come back tomorrow (even though I got an email showing it was ready for pickup). I miss the southern hospitality of Texas. Most people here (Connecticut) are rude, too. So people here are probably already used to that. Second Review: They do not know what "Hold For Pickup" means! My friend sent me something from Texas and I told her to do the "Hold For Pickup" feature because my neighborhood is kinda shady to be honest. Well, she did that and the label clearly shows "Hold For Pickup" with my name and the post offices address. Well since it was addressed to me with the post offices address, they delayed my package a day (she got 2 day shipping) because they didnt read the big text "Hold For Pickup" in the shipping label that was created automatically by USPS themselves! They told me that I cant have my package sent to me using that post offices address. But it was done by USPS! The label receipt my friend got shows "Hold For" with my name and actual address and right below that, it shows a "Pickup Location" which shows the post offices address! They do NOT know what theyre doing there.

Today is Jan 10th 2017 . On Nov 16th I had a package delivered to my house ... come home ... NOTHING . Asked around , call Landlord , No one has seen my package so I call up Middle St Post Office, I get the voice mail 11 times before I actually spoke to a bitter old human who forwards me to another answering machine. So I call the 1 800 number and file a complaint, they tell me a Post Master will be in contact with me Within 3 days ... on Nov 22nd I get a Email claiming the Carrier hasnt been to work so they cant question them (Of course she hasnt been in shes wearing MY stuff) ... theyll be in touch ! Today is Jan 10th and I still have no idea where my packages is, who it was "handed off too", I could not get the products refunded or reset via the merchant or my Bank ... Why ? Because my town is filled with Miserable, lazy government workers & thieves . Im only putting one star because it requires SOMETHING but pls be advised my one star really means NEG. 1,000,000,000,000,000 Thanks you Jahaira Sanchez for keeping me updated

Worst service, if you have a parcel coming dont expect them to delivered it to the apartment, postman just leave a notice in the box and never attempt to go to the apartment ( they expect the customer to be standing by next to his mailbox to be able to collect the parcel as the parcel will not fit in the mailbox and the poor postman cannot take it to the apt and deliver it) Went to the office and ask to get the package on Saturday and they said come till Monday ; I have the package coming on 2nd day delivery So bad service.

Most of them are totally unprofessional and rude, I spent 2 days in a package that never arrived I talk with one supervisor and he didnt give me no information just "The package is missing, we cant do anything" one of the teller "a black young lady" she was so nice with me and gave me more information than her supervisor... I have had 2 issues with them: They are slow, unprofessional, untrusted, most of the tellers dont care about the customer...

From Stratford UPS location I sent a letter through USPS for priority. Was delivered to this location first. The destination my letter was to be delivered to is in the SAME zip code as this post office. WHY WAS IT SENT TO NEW JERSEY!?!?! Tracking confirmed it was leaving New Jersey and now I have no idea where my letter is.. Stupidest thing I have ever seen. BEYOND PISSED.

Absolutely unprofessional! Have been here plenty of times with no id but came with mail, credit cards, ebt atleast 4 things with my name like i have in the past, the woman was significantly rude, the way her manoring is she should be fired!

The post office itself has or be one of he oldest I have seen in Connecticut. Still in great shape & functioning with 3 Windows inside usually. Service is good.

I requested to have my mail held 2 weeks ago for 1 month. When I went to gather my mail it had all be returned to the sender including Christmas gifts!
