dear postmaster, I live on S. Erie Ave in Lindenhurst, I have have complained about the service I receive from your post man, and have complaints about the Post office. I never receive the correct mail. I always get my neighbors all around me or on the other side of the railroad. this is unacceptable!!!!Plus i never receive my packages in a timely fashion. I order from JVT on Nov 21st and it went back and forth several times from Texas to Lindenhurst. And I still have not received my package, so now its schedule to come today.I won"t hold my breath. I have complained several times about this matter but to no avail I dont seem to get any satisfaction. And the bottom line is that know one in the Post Office seems to care. Please speak to your employees and see if we can have a better delivery in the next coming year. Thank you, Nanette

Post office is serviceable. Employees are usually helpful and wait times are what youd expect at most post offices. Could care less to post a review about a post office but seeing these 1 star reviews motivated me to write something. Yes, there are usually no pens but anyone at the counter will give you one if you ask....or bring your own. Not that big of a deal for someone to write a 1 star review based on pens. Resident of Lindenhurst for about 5 years and have never encountered any real problems here.

This entire post office needs a new attitude! Not only are all the employees nasty, but the Craig Guy answering the phone is beyond rude and hung up on me twice when I called to ask their hours for the day. Hello people, you have a job where you work face to face with people on a daily basis, if you can not handle punching a few buttons into a computer, sticking a sticker on a box and putting it into a pile, you should start looking else where for work!

11.28.11 called about changing my adress because i wasnt getting mail at my new place.craig or greg w.e answered an said u need to do a change of adress so im waiting he hangs up on me i call back thinking we got disconnected rude sob tells me ughh u need to do that online pos! dont hate cause your a miserable person with a miserable job an shouldnt answer the phones

Thank you for your assistance while residing in Lindenhurst. Sometimes the carrier delivered letters with the wrong address but as far as customer services face to face in the post office, the employees there were always efficient and eager to help. Thank you again.

The manager is rude and dont care to help solve what they have messed up They took it upon themselves to return my mail to the sender twice When explaining what the tracking online said he straight out told me he do not care what it says my mail is getting returned

Horrible service, how about never no service. Every time I decide to go there, there is no one there. The door is open and the gate is down on the inside and it doesnt matter what time I go. Makes me wonder if this post office is closed for good.

I live in Lindenhurst. My book got to the Lindenhurst post office and instead of going out to be delivered, it was sent to West Babylon. What part to zip code 11757 do these sorters not understand. This is not the first time.

There is always a line and a long wait. The registers are antiquated, forcimg the staff to be very inefficient. The self service section and the door to get in at night often need repair and the pens are always missing.

usually an ok experience. understaffed, and slow. but today I got there at 4:50 on a Wednesday, they closed off the area to buy supplies. dont they close at 5:00!?!? smh
