The worst! Do not mail your packages from here---they will NOT get to your destination in a timely manner. I sent a package on a Monday, through Priority Mail 1-Day service; it was being delivered to a Hicksville address, less than a few blocks away. As of writing this review, (now Friday), it has still NOT been delivered. Yesterday I called the post office many times and they did not pick up the phone. I ended up calling my own local post office (they picked up on the 2nd ring), and they gave me alternate numbers I could use to call the Hicksville location. After trying the other numbers, someone finally picked up and his response was, "well, its not a guarantee that it will be delivered within a certain # of days". I asked, "then why offer different services? What did I pay the extra money for? It was so the item could get there in a timely manner." Moreover, I explained that the item was just going a few blocks away (had to mail it for tracking purposes). He had no answer except that it would probably get there today.....which it has not. I would have been better off sending it from my own post office, because at least it would not be sitting around in some back office on a shelf. I will never use this location again---ever. They are the epitome of inefficiency, and have no solution or clear answer to provide for that inefficiency. If I did my job that way, I would have been fired years ago. Horrible, simply horrible.

I am an event planner who came to the post office with quite a difficult task! My staff waited patiently on line while witnessing rude and impatient customers constantly berate the obviously overworked tellers. When it was our turn, we pulled over the onsite manager RICH who could not have been nicer, more patient and clear. Absolutely fabulous service when you follow their rules and understand "the process". We had a very difficult mailer that required organization, sensitivity and care and once we were explained the best way to ensure proper delivery, the execution was flawless. The staff there made every accommodation for not only us but for the other customers in line. They are quite the multi-taskers. My advice to anyone visiting the Hicksville Post office would be to understand the pressure and volume that the tellers are dealing with and take a deep breath, wait your turn, and you will be pleasantly surprised if you treat them like real people.

Bad bad bad, this USPS location is one of the worst Ive encountered in customer service. Supervisor and Filipino looking Tony doesnt know their own refund policy. (Filipino) Tony did not honor my receipt for failed 24 hour service. With the same receipt I went to Levittown USPS and after checking that my item was not delivered until 4 business days later as opposed to 1 business day, Levittown Post Office gave me my refund from the same receipt that Hicksville location Supervisor Tony denied. I dont know how many customers entitled for refund hes been denying for lack of knowledge about his companys refund policy. I asked for the Post Master in 3 different occasions so that I can complain this Supervisor Tony and no reply no call no email from the Post Masters Office. Too bad. Very bad service and company knowledge in general. They need to re-train their Supervisor and also other employees who I went first before Tony appeared.

The tellers are rude and the weekend delivery people are often incompetent. Ive often had multiple packages set to arrive on the same weekend day. On several occasions, theyll miss one of the packages on the truck. Rather than drive back and actually deliver my package, they will put "delivery attempt failed: business closed" as the note for tracking. I live in a house, in a residential area with no businesses. No signature was required either. They delivered other things to this address earlier in the day, how could this possibly be a closed business? Lazy, incompetent employees!

made an appointment for renewing passport. Asked all the documents i needed and double checked with the employee. Went on the appointment date and got turned down saying you need this and that. I explained that this was what i heard and i double checked with the employee and they are telling me that person is not properly trained so you need to come back. Employee there are very very rude with annoying attitude. Does not listen to what customers say at all. I would give minus 50 stars if there was. Never ever going back to this place ever again.

Rude tellers and they never listen to what the customer asks of them. I do not need receipts but they give them to me anyway. Why wont they listen. They dont have a drop off for metered mail after 6pm. And the regular carrier is so slow and disorganized. Constantly mixes our mail with other companies in the building. And just throws the mail into a bucket and which way.

contrary to all of the comments it is a really nice the lines are never that long and when it is they work very fast to move it along the only minus is that it does not stay open its not 24 hours after some times it closes so that is a minus for me but after that it is very nice and very clean really but is a bit pricey really

On line for 55 min today. No explanation of why only 2 windows open to service a very long line. Per the advice of one of the cashiers I tried calling the supervisor to inquire about this situation during regular business hours..no one picked up. This does nothing to promote positive opinions of our postal window service.

RUDE employee. When I called to complain the manager was not that nice either, talking over me. This will not be my post office of choice next time I have to go do this annoying errand. As someone who has worked in customer service for almost 10 years, I can safely say they have ZERO customer service skills.

Ive been going to this post office for a very long time and I have noticed that back then the costumer service was pretty bad but there were still a few people that listened but recently the employees at the front desk dont even listen to you any more. The just keep on saying NO.

I ship many packages for my business and I grudgingly have to go to this post office. The post people are disrespectful and simply dont care about the customers. If FedEx ever lowered the price for their light packages I will switch to them in a heartbeat. Westburys way better.

As on August 2016, their service has improved - probably from all the complaints. The staff however still doesnt seem very well informed about the services that they themselves provide. The PO Box services are great and economically priced. Overall I am a satisfied customer.

Slow service here, with no interest in truly helping the customers with any problems. Protected union jobs result in dont care civil service attitudes. And forget calling, no one ever answers the listed phone number. Mr Trump, are you listening? Drain the swamp.
