If I were able to give this branch zero stars I would have. I run a small online business and mail roughly 100 packages a week out of a neighboring towns post office. In 2 years I have had no issues with them whatsoever. Northport, however, is an entirely different story. Over the last month I have dropped off 2 packages at Northport villiage branch, each priority mail. Neither package was scanned into their system as accepted, nor was it scanned as departing their branch. The first package was lost. The second is still being searched for. How in the name of you know what can a branch of the post office be so utterly incompetent as to be a resounding 0-2 when handling mail when it is a virtual non issue with any other branch ? Do yourself a favor. Drive a few extra miles to any neighboring branch. Youll thank yourself later.

I am a professional seller, shipping thousands of packages a month. I have been treated in a terrible way by Stephane and her manager. They were extremely rude and unprofessional, yelling at me because I was shipping a box of 70 pounds that was too heavy for them too carry. And in the past they also several time forced me to come back online because I had more than 10 packages to scan. I had 12, they scanned 10 and made me come back on line before scanning the 2 lasts!!!!! Claiming it was the rule... So unprofessional! I am switching to using almost exclusively UPS and for the packages where I do not have the choice of using USPS I will use an other post office but not this one. I wish I could put 0 star.

This post office consistently screws up my mail service, and when I bring it to the attention of the post master, he tells me that putting a stamp on an envelope does not guarantee anything. I get other peoples mail on a daily basis, and when I leave it in my mailbox for my postal delivery person to collect, they just leave it. Im not sure if it is stupidity, laziness or pure incompetence. No stars.

Lived in Northport 40 years. Mail still placed in wrong mailbox despite notifying the Postmaster. On another occasion I was in the post office and witnessed a patron, who was waiting in line, come up to the window only to have the window shut on his face. Clerk stating "were now closed". I guess they prefer every go to East Northport so they dont have to bother with the public.

Mail delivered to the work mailbox... In addition my driveway is lined with stones (2 feet high) on both sides. Every time a box/package has to be delivered to the front door the driver drives up the driveway and hits the wall... every time! No care or consideration given!
