I cannot say enough great things about Iavarone Brothers (Wantagh location). Im not one to normally post reviews anywhere, but I cant help it with them. Besides having the freshest, most perfectly prepared food, the experience at the store - keeps me coming back even more! Every single person that I have ever asked for help from, has always gone above and beyond to make sure I got everything I needed - and even made suggestions that lead me to even more mouth-watering delectable discoveries that keep me coming back through those doors over and over again. With all their prepared meals that leave very little work to be done once I get home - Iavarone Brothers makes me look reallllllly good to my friends and family every time I have guests over - even just for some appetizers or full blown meals. I wish could take all the credit for the deliciousness, but I cant. The guys in the deli depart, fish market, girls in the bakery and on the front end... they got it going on! They are doing something right and I just needed to share! Keep up the awesome work guys!

Food is almost always first rate and I have been a happy customer for several years. I would of given them 5 stars but their prices have gone up higher than other markets I have found. I want to use them all the time but I feel that some of the competition is controlling prices better. So I go there when time is an issue or I have a special occasion. Their customer service has also improved greatly... in the old days if the rare occasion happened and my wife returned a item that she knew was not up to their usual standards she would get an major attitude that would infuriate her since we spend so much money there. They have definitely reeled in that problem and has gotten them a lot more business from my family since the improvement. I believe the motto that if a customer has a issue it is an opportunity to flaw them with great service!!!

They sent me the wrong hero . I had ordered a specialty hero due to food allergies. They still sent the wrong hero and bought me a few wraps instead later on in the day. Then they asked for the open hero back. All my guests thought that was in very poor taste and was wondering if they were reselling this hero. I called the store and they said an owner would call me back in which he never did. I have been buying food for years from them and was extremely upset on how I was treated after the mistake was made. I never heard of a store taking food back once it was opened.They told me that I was getting a full refund for the mistake . This was a catering job .They never gave me a refund. People can get extremely sick from food allergies. Thank goodness the person with the allergies noticed it was not dairy free like we ordered.

Iavarone Brothers has been our catering choice for over 25 years from my daughters Christening to her graduation from college. The food is the best, presentation is gorgeous and service is excellent. When its holiday time there is no other family to go to then Iavarone for delicious delights. You will find great meals, groceries and desserts for your weekly needs. Our family loves the Spinach Artichoke casserole. Thank you to the Iavarone family for all your kindness and scrumptious treats over the years. I cant wait to place my holiday order.

Best fresh mozz!! My favorite place to go when I need food to entertain with. Ingredients from this place make delicious meals. Fresh pasta, freshest produce, great frozen pizza dough, great dessert selection and beautiful flowers. Nothing negative to say about this gem.

This is an upscale Italian specialty store with excellent meats,fish, and produce. Stick to those departments and prices are competitive with local supermarkets once you make allowance for quality. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Great selection, food is delicious. Get the fresh mozzarella. They have Manhattan specials! Cheese and parsley pork sausage. Expensive, but so is all specialty food. Parking lot is a little crazy, so just watch urself

Corner store butcher/grocery shop. Picked up some Seabass and it was simply amazing. They ran through the instructions on how to grill them to come out perfectly. Dinner was amazing and the family loved it.

I always had a good experience but lately found out of date item on shelves purchase the chicken cutlets within two days they turned got very slimy should have returned other then that its been good
