I have been renting a unit from Safeguard Self Storage n West Hempstead, NY in Nassau County approaching ten years. During this time, I have been greatly pleased & extremely satisfied with all the employees who work at this particular site in West Hempstead, NY. Whenever I would to Safeguard to check my unit, they the employee have greeted me very warmly & friendly, ready, willing & able to accommodate me in any way possible. Including answering all my concerns, and resolving any issue I may have to my favor. My decision to rent from Safeguard, was affordability, which was my first priority. Whenever I would go to Safeguard to make a payment or randomly check on my unit, again treated very respectfully & friendly. I noticed from the office, to the restrooms, to the rest of the facility, is always meticulously clean, which eased any concerns I may have had. I know that my hard worked life long processions are in good excellent hands at Safeguard Self Storage. Today I had concerns because recently unemployed , my storage unit will be increasing the following month. I shared my deep concerns with Surech Madaan, the Assistant Manager, of the West Hempstead facility. He listen intently & heard me. He told me he that he will speak to his supervisor on my behalf, who had the final decision. I am very pleased of the outcome, in my favor. I did not need to go over his head. I am really very thankful for Surech, who is an excellent Assistant Manager. I highly recommend Safeguard Self Storage in West Hempstead. Like I stressed earlier, I have been renting nearly ten years.

I have been with safeguard storage for some years now, and find the security, easy access, and the temperature and humidity controlled environment very good. I have always found the associates at Safeguard storage to be efficient and helpful. Mr.Suresh Madan, to name one of the associates who handled my monthly payments, has been very warm and helpful. He has been very professional and has gone out of his way to accomodate me so that I did not have to come back another day, and waited and accepted my payment even though it was past closing time, and gave me a temporary receipt till he posted the transaction check the next day. It is these little acts of gracious flexibility, that keeps a customer coming back. Mr. Suresh Madan is an asset to your organisation, and I thank you for having good staff who look after customers like me. Thank you Joseph Chandy

I rated this facility a 5 but if I could rate a 10, I would. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Steven was helpful above and beyond and made my initial visit there very pleasant. The manager Rhodana was also so very pleasant, efficient and helpful . The rooms are climate controlled and the security features are too many to mention, but very awesome. The facility was super clean. All in all, renting a space here was made easy and pleasant. I highly recommend this location for your storage needs on Long Island.

Ive been with safeguard self storage for many,many years ,and i can tell you that Suresh Madaan has always handled this establishment with excellent care. If a light goes out it is fixed immediately. The floors and the bathroom are always clean. I can always ask a question and it is answered immediately. He happens to be one of the nicest and trustworthy people I know. I would advise anyone looking for an excellent storage unit to go no further then here.

Love the storage facility. Hate that the prices keep going up. In fact, Im going to downsize temporarily and explore storing my belongings elsewhere.. Since I just received a notice about yet another increase. A unit that started at $295/mo, and in less than a year increased to $325/mo is going up to $350/mo in 30 days. Time to purge. Especially since theres no detailed explanation of what overhead justifies this.

We needed someplace close to Hofstra University to store our daughters things while she figures out her next steps and found Safeguard in West Hempsted. Nice property, very welcoming and knowledgeable staff made our visit very pleasant. Overall a great choice with reasonable rates for what we needed. I highly recommend this location for your storage needs.

The people as Safeguard Self Storage are very helpful. They are always helpful. I appreciate their friendly reminders when my bill is due. Its a great help because I have a very busy shedule.the manager Sheresh is great. Both He and his work team keep the property clean. I never have to worry about my belongings.

Rental goes up too often. Unfortunately I need storage so I have to pay. They dont let you throw garbage out in their dumpster. I had to put trash in my car
