I made reservations about 10 months in advance to have my bridal day hair and makeup done for myself and my maids. As I live out of state, I stopped by the salon when I was in Asheville a few months later to check it out and to confirm the appointment. I felt assured that my experience would be great- the salon seemed busy and the receptionist assured me that my appointments were secured. I called back several weeks before my wedding for final confirmation, and the lady answering the phone told me in the very rudest manner possible that they werent available for any appointments that day because they had booked another bride in my place. I explained to her that I had made the appointments and had confirmed them many months prior, and she told me that I "should have called before now about it." She did not apologize, but blamed me for their mistake. She didnt even offer to suggest another salon in the area. Not being from Asheville, it is obviously more difficult for me to ascertain the quality of a salon from across the country. I am now only weeks from my wedding and thanks to Lolas, will be doing my bridal hair and makeup on my own.

It is not every day that you can find a salon like Lola. In fact I never stayed with a hairdresser more than a year before I started going to Lola. I started going to Rebecca (the owner) for my wedding. I lived in Charlotte and knew we would be moving to Asheville in the next year. I decided to keep coming up to Asheville to have her do not only my wedding hair, but my haircuts and highlights. It is now 7 years later and she has become my hairdresser and therapist! When she was on maternity leave I saw other stylists in the salon and I can honestly say that EVERYONE at Lola is a true professional and very talented. I recommend them to anyone who asks where I get my hair done, and to anyone who needs a good listener! You will be in the best hands at Lola.

Lola Salon was just fantastic to work with! Jesslyn, Katelyn, and Becky Lou were the hair stylists for my sister’s wedding and did an incredible job! We had a very large bridal party and they were able to keep to the timeline and accommodate everyone’s requests. As an event planner, this was such a relief to have all they stylists’ so on-top-of-it. Everyone’s hair looked amazing. They were able to integrate an overall look across all the girl’s hair styles without each one being exactly the same. Lola Salon was so wonderful. We cannot thank them enough and would recommend her to everyone!! THANK YOU!!

Danielle at Lola Salon created the most PERFECT updo for my wedding!! She listened to what I wanted, but used her expertise to make it even more amazing than I could have imagined. She was very calm and confident, which made me feel reassured despite my nerves on the big day. My hair looked perfect, and despite it being a very windy day, not a single piece fell out or got disheveled all throughout the long wedding day. My perfect look lasted well into the festivities of the night--when I got home at 1am it was still just as beautiful as when I left the salon. It was a miracle. Danielle is awesome!

I was first recommended to Lola when I was looking for someone to do my hair for my wedding in 2011. Rebecca did an amazing job on my big day, and Ive been going to her for all my hair needs (cut, color, styling) ever since! It should be noted that I have curly hair, and she knows just what to do with it and how to cut it. I have also had my hair done by a few of the other stylists and it has always been a great experience. Additionally, I own a bridal shop in town, and I always recommend Lola Salon to my brides. This place is awesome!

Ive been going to Rebecca at Lola for years. Ive been through long hair, short hair, blond hair, lavender hair... I think what I most appreciate is that Rebecca listens to my ideas and helps me make the best possible choice. The outcome is always flawless and I would never go anywhere else! I take all three of my children to Lola for their haircuts as well, I love that they put just as much time and effort into a kids cut. What a sweet little spot! Ive lived in Asheville for over 10 years and passed the salon many times before ever going in. My friend referred me to Lola and I ended up having Britton as my stylist. She was great! She took her time and was thorough. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She made good suggestions about repairing my hair. I felt great when I left the salon and my hair looks amazing! I will definitely be back.

I have been getting my hair cut at Lola for over four years now -- ever since I moved to Asheville I bring my kids there too. It never fails to be a wonderful experience. Every one is so nice. Its hip, but without any hipster attitude. Its a great environment. I feel totally pampered and I always walk away looking fabulous. People stop me and ask me where I get my hair cut. And I am always happy to direct them to Lola.

I was so happy with Lolas! We had them come out to our venue, and Im so glad we did! It was so relaxing to sip cocktails, put on a playlist and let the stylists at Lolas work their magic. Liz did our hair and Karen did our makeup, and we all looked beautiful, but also like ourselves. We also loved hanging with these ladies! Lolas is worth the money, and their stylists have amazing taste so we were all in excellent hands.

My girlfriend made an appointment for me at Lola. At first I was skeptical and told her I was happy with my usual cheap haircuts, but I am sold on this high-end salon now. The experience was awesome. I felt comfortable as soon as I arrived. The head massage was great and my haircut seems to last longer and is easy for me to make look good. This salon is not just for women.

Love the salon but mostly love the way Danielle has taken care of my hair, bringing it from fried to fabulous. I now travel from out of state to have her do my hair! I went into Lola with an odd request about coloring my hair. Rebecca counselled me patiently, asked me good questions about what I wanted from the color, explained benefits and drawbacks very frankly. In the end, my hair came out with EXACTLY the look I wanted to achieve - elegant and edgy!

This is the best hair salon! Rebecca and all of the ladies who work here are top notch in their profession. They are very talented at cutting hair, as well as doing color. I love all of the pink, and there is always a friendly voice answering the phone. I wouldnt go to anywhere else!
