I called to get a blow out; I had to wait a day or two for Elba as she was all booked up. I explained what I wanted, and told her my hair was dry and breaking. She deep conditioned it, set it on rollers and put me under the dryer until it was about 70% dry, and then blew it out. She finished it with the flat iron and some wonderful hair care products that left it shiny, but not oily and looking like silk! Soft to the touch, and somehow didnt have that burnt smell if often does with other stylists when they use the flat iron.. Her spirit is so sweet, and shes very patient; The salon is small, with a barbershop in the back. Nothing fancy at all; kinda like something someone would run out of their house you know, no frills whatsoever. But hey, for $35 you cant beat it with a stick! This place will be my regular hair spot from now on!

DO NOT GO HERE especially if you have "ethnic" hair as they call it ! They ruined my beautiful natural hair and texture it would not turn back. First of all, i took my products there and the lady only wanted to use a little (THE PRODUCTS WERE TO PREVENT HEAT DAMAGE). Secondly, they do no trim (she cut off alllll my hair and in layers). OH ! and a fun fact, if your hair is too "curly" you pay more than the price listed on their website. I will never ever go back to this establishment, as a matter of fact if I could take legal action against this establishment I WOULD (LOOKING INTO IT !) Sincerely, A PISSED OFF CUSTOMER ! DO NOT GO HERE ! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !

I wasnt happy with my styles & over charge me I went to NC on my bday & I went online looking for a nice salon & when I read the customers review I went personally to the salon I asked the beautician I want highlights & wash & set & style they charged me $200 for the service & I never paid that amount to get my hair done but the problem was instead the beautician fixing my hair & taking there time they was concentrating my man & flirting with him & I wasnt happy with my result I will never ever go to this place cause now I found another salon thats friendly & take there time & I only paid for everything $100...

The worse Ive ever had. I called ahead and told Mercedes exactly what I wanted and when I was going to be there, and I thought she understood. CLEARLY NOT! When I got there not only was the wait crazy, but when I asked about it before they started they wouldnt tell me. So she washed my hair and kept trying to put me under the dry. I told her repeatedly that I didnt want to be under and I just came for a blow out. THEN THEY TELL ME WHAT THE WAIT IS! I couldnt stay and get my hair done so I left with wet hair... so incompetent.....annoyed

Las muchachas que trabajan alli son excelentes. Sin embargo, sugiero al duen#o del salon instalar un extractor de aire para que nosotros los clientes y sus trabajadores no nos tragemos el humo y gases toxicos generados por el secado del pelo o el alisado.

Extremely professional. I had a blowout done and a haircut. Afterwords I couldnt believe how amazing I looked!!! All the stylist were so kind and caring. Every stylist was great. I definitely recommend this salon. My appointment was at 3:00. I arrived at the salon at 2:45 and the stylist started my hair at 2:50. My hair is thick and very hard to blow dry but the stylist did it with no problem. I have been to this salon about 6 times and I like the salon more each and every time!!!!

There is a young lady named Elba who took my damaged, tangled hair and turned it into something, manageable, shiny, healthy and beautiful! My daughter also had her hair done the same day and it.turned.out wonderful. Never thought I would find a salon like this in North Carolina, let alone in Cary! They have a client for life! This salon rivals any Dominican salon in my hometown of NYC.

After 4 hours of walk-in service of them going from client to client and spending very little time on my hair, Im not happy. This was my first and LAST time there. I will not be returning. Ive had better blowouts from regular hair stylists! My hair was also super drier than it was before I arrived and not silky like it would be in DC or the upper North east coast!

i have alot of hair. its thick & its alot. they do a good job on the blowout but, they seem to have a problem about how much hair i have. when they comb my hair they rip it out. & im only 14. i understand their frustration but, i feel like a alien when im there.

I have been looking for a beauty salon with no luck. I finally found this salon and it isnt very very close to my house, but it is worth the commute. I am very picky with my hair, and very hard to please...., but Dorcas Dominican Salon does a great job.

First time going there and they do an amazing job with your hair they just overcharge and its not worth it. But if you need your hair done quickly and are okay with paying a whole lot then this is the place.
