I had such high hopes and had been looking forward to doing this perm for months. I had just grown out my pixie cut to just below my chin. Yes, my hair had been highlighted on one side 9 months prior, but had been assured that it would be ok. I paid $40 extra for the Olaplex treatment as well. I drove over an hour to get to the salon, and as soon as I got home, I could see that my hair was a disaster. The last 2 inches of the hair on both sides were completely frizzy, kinky and fried. I immediately called the salon and was told that they will sometimes relax. I waited 48 hours to wash and the results were no different. My regular hairdresser had to cut 2-3 inches off of my already short hair (that I had been growing for sooo long) and its still destroyed. I have now spent over $250 on this mess and am humiliated to go out in public. I understand these things can happen, but she HAD to have noticed this before I left the salon and didnt say anything. I saw it briefly in the mirror before I left and couldnt tell from the distance how bad it was. Literally as soon as I saw it in a mirror, it was obvious. These are pics I took when I got home. I would really really like my money back since my hair is beyond repair. The pictures were taken upon arriving home. The products that were recommended were not in stock so I declined to pay an additional $60 on top of the $40 olaplex. Since the photos were immediately following the perm, the products that were recommended would be of little use.

When my mother cam to town for a visit and needed to get her hair done I took her to this salon for a wash and set. The owner, Ana, did a fantastic job. She gave my mom a Dominican Blowout. I have never seen my mother more pleased with her hair. I found this to be such a good experience my whole family has been back for colors,cuts and straightening. I had gone in under the previous owners and was not pleased with the atmosphere. Now I enjoy it very much. The people that work there are very understanding about what we want, as well as very honest about what they can and cant do to please us. Its that honesty, combined with the years of experience these people have that is going to keep my family going back to see these people.

Nancy was able to provide me: 1) suggestions on make up and hair, 2) constructive feedback on my walk and pageant etiquette, and 3) time to chat over Facetime after her busy work day. More importantly, Nancy gave me her full attention and support, which speaks to how she is willing to bend over backwards over anyone she works with. Susie had the task of helping me start to go blonde with my super long, violet red hair. She gave me beautiful oil based highlights that did not damage my hair. She also toned down my red. Its beautiful. I am well on my way to blonde. She also gave me the best layer cut Ive ever had. My hair is much more beautiful and manageable now. She even gave me advice on products. They really care about you and your hair here. They take the time to give you the best hair experience. The atmosphere is so positive. I felt like a friend of theirs the moment Nancy greeted me at the door. They even serve sweet tea! Do yourself and your hair a favor and check them out!

I love this place! Ive been getting my hair cut there for years and would never go anywhere else. I recently got my favorite haircut Ive ever had! I told Nancy that I wanted layers but other than that left it up to her. She knows me and my style so well now thats all I had to say and I loved it! I cant wait to experiment more with coloring etc with my hair! They also did my hair for my wedding and it was gorgeous!!!! Actually even better than the picture I brought in. The environment is friendly and they all make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quality cut at an affordable price.

Today was the best experience at Sweet T Salon! Rosa, Gloria, Melinda, Morgan, Suzi, Nancy, Brenda, Wendy, and Amy are such an awesome team. Each person helps one another. As I walked through the door they greeted me. This is a very Sweet place and a family oriented place. There is no alcohol like newer salons. They serve the Sweet NC Tea! This is a place for a family. The price was worth every bit. I am a blue collar worker and came in a little dirty. They shampood my hair, cut my with precision, and gave me hot warm hand towels to clean my face and hands after. That felt amazing and very refreshing.

I highly recommend Susie for anyone with curly hair! Im a guy with very curly hair in front, and more relaxed curls in back. I was going to a different salon for 5 months with a stylist who wasnt cutting my hair right before trying Sweet T. Even after consulting with some of the Raleigh area stylists who specialize in curly hair, I chose Sweet T because of the friendly staff, flexible scheduling, and because Susie was the only one during the consultation to tell me what was being done wrong and how to fix it. Ive gone back twice for haircuts and am extremely pleased! Check out Sweet T and ask for Susie!

Wow, I see that a lot of people also love Sweet T Salon- and this salon clearly loves people (it shows!) And they love animals too. I really appreciate that the salon supports the ASPCA. The one reviewer who gave one star seems VERY(!) suspicious to me. First of all, I know from experience that they do not charge $50 for a haircut for "baby fine" hair. So thats not true. Second, if you have a problem, they will do what it takes to make you happy. Trust me, Im difficult to please. Sweet T Salon, keep up the good work, and ignore the one random hater who I doubt was an actual client!

I would not recommend this salon to anyone who may be on a budget. The staff was friendly, but as soon as your seated in the chair, everything changes. The attention was focused more on the other customers who walked through the door. Not to mention the horrible cut that I received by the owner of the salon. I walked in for a trim and walked out with a mullet. The woman took thinning shears to my already "baby fine" hair. I hated my hair for weeks after this cut. I will never go back, and especially to pay $50.00 for a trim. Worst hair cut I have had in years. Good luck to anyone else.
