We found Five Star Painting after having a horrific experience with another company and we couldnt be more pleased. After getting quotes from 4 other companies, we met Robin and hired Five Star to paint our entire downstairs, top to bottom, kitchen cabinets and all. This was no small feat as our home hadnt been painted in decades and there was a need for tons of patching, caulking and general sanding/cleaning. Robin arrived early and walked me through everything again and started moving my furniture, etc. The crew arrived and immediately went to work on prep, taking great care to protect our new flooring. They continued to work hard and in 2 days, my home looked unbelievably refreshed and clean and just lovely. They cleaned up after themselves and put all of our furniture and accessories back. Robin did a walk-through while they were clearing out and again after they did the minor touch ups he pointed out. The crew was courteous and patient with me. I really just cant say enough good things about Five Star Painting.

Robin came out to my house for my estimate. I got three quotes and his was in the middle, but his professionalism is what made me move forward with Five Star (appropriately named). I was a liitle concerned at first with the fact that he had a "crew" come do the work, but that was quickly alleviated when I met the actual painters and of course Robin was actually there to explain every aspect of the job to them. I ended up getting my entire house painted, my mutiple decks stained, and my numerous out-buildings painted as well. They did an amazing job. I had asked for my front porch to be painted blue, but they painted it white. When I brought it up, there was no questioning or weirdness at all, they said "yep we missed that" and fixed it the next day. I fully intend to have them come and paint the inside of my house later this year. After seeing how clean and methodical they were with the outside, I have no concerns over their future treatment of the inside.

Five Star did superior work and I would highly recommend them - and will use them again. From original contact, Trent was immediately responsive and professional. I was able to schedule him to come to my home to quote the job within 24 hours and had the work done the next day! The crew was efficient, polite, tidy, and did exceptional work. I had them do several different paint colors with nary a hesitation, and they smiled the whole time. I could tell they enjoyed what they do. The owner, Robin, was thoroughly in contact with me and he and Trent both came to inspect the work and make sure I was satisfied with the job that the crew completed. They even did some minor drywall repair complimentary. Five Star did in four hours what another painting company I had hired before would have taken a week to do...and they spoke English and were less money! I even had them add on staining the deck for an extremely competitive price. Very happy customer; you can trust this company.

I was preparing my house to sell it and needed the kitchen, living room, and foyer painted. All three areas have very high vaulted ceilings. Robin at Five Star was recommended to me by my realtor. They did a great job on the wall prep, painting, and clean up. I was replacing a darker color with a lighter off white paint, and the two coats they applied covered the old darker paint perfectly. Robin was very responsive and listened to make sure they understood exactly what I wanted done. The work was performed in a timely manner and there was very little mess and clean up afterwards. I have Pergo floors and had the base boards painted also and there was almost no paint on the floors when they were done, and what little was there came up easily. I also thought the price charged was very reasonable for the amount of and quality of work they performed.

During the 25 years I have owned my home, I have had experiences with many painting contractors, but none as good as Five Star! From the first phone call, Taylor was very responsive in giving me a quote, and even returned a few weeks later to do it again after I changed the scope of the work. The painters arrived on time and the day that was planned. They worked very efficiently, and were very careful to cover all my furniture and rugs. Robin (Taylors father) helped to roll up one of those rugs and put it in a different room. He also went over the whole job every day with the painters and with me to make sure everything was being done to my satisfaction. My job was more challenging because oil based paint was used in part of the house. Painting was finished on time and looks great. I would highly recommend Five Star!

5 Star Painting is the best! Robin and Taylor were wonderful and Elmer and his crew did a great job! During the walk through, Robin made sure that I was completely satisfied with the job, and sent the crew over to do some additional touch-ups. I had asked him if they would return to do some touch-ups after my furniture was moved in, just in case the movers damaged some of the freshly painted walls- he told me to contact them if further touch-ups were needed. Sure enough, the movers did quite a number in the stairwell and several other places around the house, but a quick text to Taylor had the crew back at my place the next day and my walls looking like new once again! I highly recommend 5 Star Painting, and plan to use them again (when Im ready to have the rest of house painted). Thanks guys!

"Its hard to find good help" seems to be a common complaint these days. We found good help when we hired Five Star Painting to paint the exterior of our home in Raleigh. I could tell right away that Robin was going to be someone I could easily work with. Robin and his team of very experienced painters were professional, on time, efficient and hard working. They paid attention to detail in their prep work and clean up. When they were finished our home looked great. The whole process of getting our house painted with Five Star from their initial visit to job completion was positive. I would gladly recommend Robin and his Five Star painting crew. They wont disappoint.

So impressed! They were quick, efficient and very accommodating. They started work the same week as the quote and were finished in 1 day. One thing that was so impressive was I had to be home with my small son during the painting. The crew that came in all told each other I had my son here and they were so quiet that my son took all his scheduled naps without issue!!! Every guy that came in was warned by the crew that my son was sleeping. Any parent out there knows how amazing that is. I have already booked them for the next job and am telling all my friends and family. Truly exceptional. I had Taylor and his crew....I cant wait to use them again and again!

I could not be more satisfied with the service and work performed by Five Star. Since the initial contact with the company, I have been meet with continual professionalism, responsiveness and promptness. The services that were performed was a fairly large job (removal of popcorn ceilings throughout entire house, wallpaper removal for one room and interior painting of majority of home). The removal of the popcorn ceilings is a very messy task and his crew did a great job in cleaning up. I am very satisfied & pleased with the work performed. Most importantly, the ceilings look amazing and the painting looks great!
