La petite at 955 west Chatham st in Cary was a great school until the new director, Shannon got there. When shes not busy sleeping at her desk she prides herself on being a rude, unprofessional, classless, tacky director. Ever since the first time this chic called me she was a Mf jerk. My kids have been going there since birth, 1, of whose is now 10. I have never in my life dealt with someone so ridiculous. I know of a few parents who have filed complaints against this school. They (not all the teachers there but more than enough) treat ur kids like s#!+. constantly getting yelled at. Shannon swears she knows everything going on, but sits at her desk all day long. Your concerns arent addressed what so ever because the only thing she cares about is whether u pay on time. I had an issue with one of the teachers mistreating my daughter, brought it to Shannon, and low and behold, nothing was done...she fed me all this bs on how she was going to handle it, but she was nothing but a bunch of hot ass air. I bet if it was about her not getting paid the witch (and thats being nice) woulda listened. She even tried telling me she wasnt gonna pick my kids up from school bcuz she was mad I saw right thru her lies and called her ass out that she wont bout s#!t...a str8 up liar..or she was tellin me to not bring them back Wtf does that????? Wherever she came from she needs to go back, but given her attitude they probably happy as hell her ass gone.....dont let her fool you. Ive written corporate a very lengthy letter sharing my disgust for this female, and hopefully someone from corporate will see this. I suggest you run, or take ur kids elsewhere until they get a better person to run the place. theres nothing but a bunch of fakeness goin on..as well as turnovers... they have a new teacher every week, and that is definitely not a good look. Before you learn the teachers name someone else takes her place. to all the directors who were before Shannon. PLEASE COME BACK!!! and to all the wonderful teachers who left bcuz of her...I felt your pain...ima keep praying for the kids til they get someone in there who gives a damn about them cuz the director doesnt. This place use to be the best, now its fallen off bcuz of one person....notice how NONE OF THESE REVIEWS mention her at all....especially in a positive manner like they did the other teachers and directors..its for a reason..... Shes been there for several months and has effed up a great place...Smdh...

Where do I begin??!! My son is 5 years old and was welcomed to La Petite Academy on 955 W, Chatham St. Cary with open arms, loving hearts, and warm spirits. Kaedyn loves coming to school and has grown so much in the last 4 months that he has been enrolled. Socially/Emotionally Kaedyn was struggling when he first enrolled. With the patience and nurturing demeanor of the all the staff he has flourished positively. He has been allowed to be himself along with be taught how to properly handle the minor situations that seem so major to a 5 year old. He has continuous learning, and comes home literally everyday with something new he has learned about. The online communication system Precious Status allows a constant insight on what is going on with Kaedyn throughout the day From his meals, to activities, naps, and pictures taken. As a parent, you want to feel your child is genuinely cared about when you leave them for the day. The comfort level knowing he is safe, and cared about allows me as a single parent, working throughout the day to focus on work. Knowing Kaedyn is safe, loved, and cared about is most important. I get all of those feelings from the staff! He will be going to kindergarten next month, but it was so important to me that he remain at La Petite for before school care. With the big change of kindergarten, knowing he will continue seeing familiar faces every morning is beyond comforting. I am so thankfuk for the accommodations that have been made for Kaedyn to be taken to school by staff members whom he adores. La Petite Academy has been such a blessing to Kaedyn and I!!

My daughter started daycare because I started a new job and her dad had some training he couldnt miss and me being on 90 day probation period I couldnt miss either! We had toured la petite in September and figured that would be the best place! Her first day I was called and told to come get her in an hour because of plumbing and sanitation issues. My first issue because I couldnt leave work and when I called the assistant Director was very rude and didnt really explain well about what was going on. She instantly got an attitude because I was asking a million questions and put me on hold for 6 minutes I ended up hanging up and my office manager who new this was my first child and that I was terrified to send her anyway just let me go get her! She had only been there 3 hours! She started on a Wednesday and by Friday her father and I had already witnessed a extremely old soiled pamper hanging off her, snot crusted allll over her face which led me to believe they didnt pay her much attention and kids using her cup! Not to mention by Friday night she had a terrible cold and now a little over a week and a half later she has the hand foot mouth disease which started on her butt! The er doctor said that it started there most likely because the changing stations were unsanitary! Im very upset with this facility and even more scared to send my child back to any daycare! One thing I know for sure she wont be going back to the la petite academy in Chatham street in Cary NC!!!!!!!

I cant think of a single complaint, and Im a very finicky mother!! The directors are caring and kind, the teachers are loving and patient. I have a child in Toddler 1, 12-18 months, and they made his transition into this new daycare a breeze!! They serve the kids great food, but I am one of those moms who prefers organic foods, so I bring his breakfast, lunch and snack every day. They serve it to him happily and they also offer him their food, because he was getting jealous of the other kids plates and couldnt understand why he cant eat their yummy food, too! Hes had issues with constipation and bad diaper rashes, and they have been SO accommodating. My husband and I LOVE getting pictures of him all day, seeing how much of what he ate, and how long he slept! We are making a collage of all the pictures of him napping. He is learning so much! Shapes, colors, numbers, animals, songs! He surprises me all the time with what he has learned at daycare. They taught him to sleep on a mat, got him off the bottle, hes a pro at using utensils now, and is growing up to be such a kind and sweet little boy. We love this daycare!! SO much bang for the buck! Ask about employer discounts... if you work at a big company, you might be eligible!

I moved to the Cary area 6 months ago and would highly recommend that you enroll your child(ren) here. I absolutely LOVE this daycare facility. The staff is wonderful and they truly treat my children as if they were their own. They offer a variety activities, events and programs to engage the families of the children that attend here. I love the clean, open floor layout of the classrooms within the facility because you are able to see whats going on at all times. Their Precious Status App serves as a fast, efficient and reassuring method of communication that not only keeps you updated with everything your childs day encompasses, but serves as a direct contact with your childs teachers also. In addition too, diapers, food, and wipes are provided for infants at no additional cost with hours of operations from 630 AM - 630 PM Mon-Fri; with occasional Parent Night. Definitely 5 Stars!!!!
