Initially, I thought this was an overall great center. I realize after witnessing & dealing with an excess of juvenile bureaucracy from the administration, that it was a few key teachers who made this center great. During the time in which my child attended, I saw good staff members fired for over politics & others who left on their own because they were fed up with the lack of support & resources for all they did, while the mediocre, untrained, immature submissives were rewarded with favoritism & second, third, & fourth chances. On numerous occasions, I watched inappropriate behavior from support staff, often directed at the children, such singling a child out, using humiliation as punishment & discarding personal property in the garbage to retaliate against a 3 year old... when these issues were brought to the attention of the director, Rena Hoggard, her dismissive response was to offer more training to an assistant staff member who clearly has no business working with children, ever. Instead of moving this woman from my childs class, my son attended another classroom away from his friends & away from the lead teacher he adored which he of course viewed as a punishment - & began to exhibit concerning stress behaviors as a result. After numerous conversations with Rena, who admitted shed received similar concerns from other parents, this same woman who had raised red flags for numerous parents for being mean to their children, was moved to the infant room - where she was then subsequently fired for lifting a newborn up by its clothing. Seriously? WTF? And this is just the one example that broke the camels back. During the 2 years my son attended Primary Beginnings, I saw several parents pull their children out to pursue other child care options because they were dissatisfied. I saw wonderful, awesome, fun & inspiring teachers leave because they were unappreciated. I watched children repeating "grades" because there was no room for them to move up with their friends, not for a few days or weeks, but over 6 months or more. The previous most-awesome assistant director, Mr. Jesse, who all the children & teachers alike adored - walked out & quit... Why then did I stay as long as I did? Because of Ms. Pat, Ms, Aymee & my sons two precious little BFFs & the amazing bond they had. No way would I send another child of mine there under current administration; its like a "high school for preschool" mentality & business model. Not cool.

My daughter has attended Primary Beginnings for almost 4 yrs now. She went from attending daycare full time to now attending before and after school care. The staff is awesome, they are all loving, caring and attentive. My daughter loves her teachers and the school.I also love the teachers and all of the staff at Primary Beginnings. I thoroughly trust each member of the Primary Beginnings team and would personally recommend them to all of my friends, family, neighbors and co-workers.

My son has been going here for two years and loves it! They do more than just watch the kids. They teach, interact and help them grow.
