Not very professional in talking to me as a customer. Very unprofessional workmanship laying a 100 driveway, Potholes all over, lumps all over, one side sitting 2" below ground level, other side 4" above ground level, drainage in yard not ditch, water problem going back to foundation of house. I would not recommend Rountree Engineering & Contracting for any driveway work. If I could rate below a 1 star I would. My driveway started in August 2016, and is still incomplete. I have flooding issues to the foundation of my home, one side of driveway sits below ground level so I have water standing approximately 4-6 foot on driveway when it rains. Potholes all over, humps all over and still parking across the street since no one can use the driveway because it is incomplete. Have not seen Rountree Engineering & Contracting/Dan Rountree since August 24, 2016 when I pointed out potholes to him. Numerous e-mails to him with pictures. Videos uploaded to youtube showing the incomplete driveway with the surface and the type of job his company has done for me. Dan, I am sorry that you feel that I am bullying, slandering etc. you, but you got partial payment and to this day, Nov. 1, 2016, this driveway of yours has not been used or driven on, no access to the road, substandard work, flooding in yard (not the ditch) and I could continue. So, your reply to my review, was very unwarranted when you know yourself, that the work you did is not complete, no site for repairs from you or the removal of this driveway. Proof is what this is all about.

Roundtree Engineering was very professional from start to finish laying the foundation for a 12x20 shed we had installed in our backyard this past week. Its not often that a Professional Engineer (PE) will come to your house, take measurements, proactively contact the other contractors on the project (in this case the shed manufacturer), take the lead on the design of the slab needed for the shed, and then be onsite for the all the actual work. Dan and all of the Roundtree folks went above and beyond. I am extremely pleased with their work, their professionalism, and the total value they provided. As a former Civil Engineer myself, I highly recommend Roundtree Engineering.

I hired this company to dig a ditch in my side yard where water was not draining. They were prompt and tactful in carrying out the job. When one ditch cut did not work, they came out and did a second one free of charge. Dan was a pleasure to work with and had excellent communication throughout the process.
