First, I will mention that me and my children love The Cheesecake Factory. We have been driving almost an hour to Durham for the last few years, and to Charlotte as well, in order to visit our favorite restaurant in NC. We were excited to hear one was opening in Greensboro, which is much closer to us. I had visited the new location the first Saturday it was open. Although it was extremely busy, our wait time was about an hour and a half and we were told an hour and a half. This past Saturday we showed up at 5:20, was told the wait was 1 hour and 15 minutes and finally was seated at 7:30. This ended up being almost an hour longer than we were told. They were extremely busy and you could tell that the employees were frustrated and didnt have it together. This visit was a celebration for my daughter. We asked for bread and was told it would be right out, but we ended up having it for dessert (I guess you would say). My daughter ordered fried macaroni, they came out 20 minutes later and told us they were out of it and she needed to order something else - which she did. Her order of quesadillas came out before our food, which she finished before we started eating. Two more meals came to the table, as another plate we waited on an additional 15 minutes. It was very strange to see our food delivered at 3 different times. Drink refills were not being provided, so we finally asked another waitress who was very nice and refilled for us and even came back around to check on us again. Between the wait and our "3 meal deliveries", we did not get out of the restaurant until 9:30. My daughter wasnt impressed with her quesadilla, but I think that was based off the fact she wanted their fried mac and cheese. My boyfriend got the Louisiana Chicken Pasta which is always great. My son got the Cajun jambalaya, which he liked. I had the chicken samosas and the crab bites (2 small appetizers). The crab bites are always good, even though I waited on them until everyone else was already finished with their meals. The chicken samosas were not impressive at all. It would have been a lot more enjoyable if we could have enjoyed our meals together instead of watching one person eat at a time. It was either that or let the food get cold. This was a 4 hour strange fiasco that has really made me question how well the staff was trained at the Greensboro location. I love Cheesecake Factory, and our food was delicious, but we would have been able to drive to Durham and been home faster than going to Greensboro (which is 25 minutes away). I have eaten at several CF locations, and I am aware this location is new and the staff is still learning, but this place should not be this chaotic. I do not mind at all spending good money for a great meal, and we visited because we love the food, but $140 for 4 people for this experience is completely not worth it at all.

June 11th, my closest family and friend were dining for my "Send-off" Brunch from grtting married the evening before. We all were excited and looking forward to a great dining experience since most of the party had dined at other locations and knew what go expect. As the bride, I made this reservation months in advance, just to be sure they could accommodate our group of 25-30. We were the 1st party there as they opened the doors, reservation was made from 10-11am, I was informed that it was the only time frame where reservations could be made for a Sunday Brunch, upon arrival was told we could not be seated until 11. (That seemed to be my true reservation time) Around 10:30, I inquire about at least being seated so we are not blocking the entrance and also just as a courtesy, the host says no unfortunately we have it set up that we can not even seat the party. As soon as the 10:30 wait staff comes in they would see what they can do. Eventually they do seat my party and begin taking orders with about 4 waitresses. Around 45 mins later, food finally begins to come out but orders are incorrect, some guest hadnt received appetizers before entrees, and some none at all. At this point some of my guest had eaten, grabbed to-go boxes, and paid while parts of my party still hadnt received food. Mine you, they ordered strictly breakfast while others order shrimp, salmon, chicken, etc. I then asked to speak with a Manager. I cocked my concerns and disappointment in the service and she did nothing. There was an empty apology for the wait but nothing done to salvage our experience. The 4 waitresses we started with dropped to 2, and yes we were a large group but that is why we made the reservation in advance so the planning and staffing could accommodate us. Other patron of 4 or less got in and out before us and we were left to just stare at ourselves until checks were given. I feel extremely responsible for guest having such a bad dining experience. Many of which were out of state guest and were charge additional nights due to the length of our dining at this location. My newlywed husband and I enjoy the Cheesecake factory, but could not possibly enjoy our meals then or ever having experience such poor service.

All I can say is I absolutely love The Cheesecake Factory and I LOVED my server, my food, dessert and the overall experience. My family and I came in last night (6/9) around 8:00 or so after coming back from my eldest sons graduation. There was a long wait for our party of 7, So we were starved. Once we were seated, our server Zoie took excellent care of us beginning to end. Our party didnt come in all at once, but whenever a person joined the table, she was there to take the drink orders immediately. I was having a difficult time deciding what to order, so I asked her opinion. Zoie asked what I was in the mood for, what I was wanting in a meal and she directed me to the Chicken Romano. I LOVED it. My husband and I also ordered two strawberry lemonades and when they were brought to the table we drank them immediately. She constantly refilled our drinks, helped all of us decided on entrees and directed us all to a cheesecake we loved. Needless to say she made the experience amazing. Also, kutos to the kitchen staff for preparing our food within 30 minutes of our order being taken. Everything was delicious! On the other hand, there was a table across from us we overheard that wasnt satisfied with their food, the result of one of the people eating walking out, angry, after the manager came over to the table and was very rude and confrontational. That was only one of the many times Ive seen this management team be rude to their customers and or employees. The management team here needs a fixing on their attitudes. I was sitting in a 2 person booth one Sunday night and your male manager punched a wall and yelled very loudly. Yes, he was behind the glass wall but I was so close to the back with my son we witnessed it and heard him. Your management team seems very young and unsure of how to do their jobs like their supposed to. Fix them before they ruin the restaurant. Other than that, this place has great food & excellent wait staff. Anytime we come back we will be asking for Zoie, Megan or Raven. Give those girls a pat on the back for their great customer service skills. -The Turner Family.
