1. My hair is very important to me. It is my the outward representation of who I am on the inside. I like it funky and I like it done right so I trust my hair to Bliss. 2. I am a teacher and teach my students that saying mean things isnt ok, even if we are angry. Apparently, the girl that wrote the review below from Dec. 21 hasnt been taught that.If she was sooooo upset, then she shouldve gone back to Bliss because they guarantee their work. She couldve had another stylist "fix" it. She couldve at least called and talked to someone in person, but no, she bashed people online. That shows that her intent was to be hurtful. 3.I have gone to Bliss for 3 or 4 years now, so I know the receptionist, but even if I didnt know her, Id still be upset at the comments made about her. Being rude and mean is just ugly. As far as this Katies stylist is concerned, Ive known her for 8 years. I taught her in high school and find myself feeling extremely protective of her and want to come to her defense. Katie described her stylist as a "young, inexperienced hair dresser"? Emily has cut and colored my hair and my kids hair since she first started 2 years ago. She gives me the exact cut I want every time. Emily took classes to help her learn how to brighten the intense red that I was going for. Thats not inexperienced. Thats going the extra mile for a client and thats what Emily does every time and thats why I go to Bliss.

Bliss seems like a really cool place and maybe some of the stylist do a fine job. Everyone was pleasant, but my hair turned out terrible. I have dark brown hair and I asked for some soft baleyage ombré highlights and a haircut. I showed the stylist photos and she said it was totally doable. I dont often like to spend a lot of money to get my hair done. I decided to treat myself though because Ive been very sick. The day I went to the salon was actually one of the first days I was able to leave the house for more than a short period of time since my illnesses got bad. I was on a low dose of Chemo for months because of multiple Autoimmune diseases and my hair needed some TLC. ANYWAYS.. I ended up with streaky Yellow/Orange/Light blond highlights all over. It looked terrible mixed in with my dark brown hair. My haircut was ok, nothing special. I left still having split ends. I just kind of felt like for whatever reason she didnt feel like her appointment with me really mattered. Maybe I should have asked her to fix it, I just was so upset and wanted to get out of there. Thankfully I am pretty good with hair and was able to get it to the color I wanted myself!

I Finally Found a Fantastic Hair Dresser at Bliss in the WNC area and her name is EMILY. I Moved here around 2001/2002 from a Metropolitan City Area where i was Blessed with many great hair stylists and salons. I have tried quite a few hair dressers here in WNC but never got what I wanted. I was dreading the drive there and thought its going to be another bad hair experience but I was willing because I definitely needed some Hair TLC, a pick me up and a new look. Emily was Very Sweet and Welcoming. She was Very Professional during the consult and had Many Great Ideas. Next when Emily had her scissors in hand her Artistry Came Alive. Very Very Talented Young Lady!!! She is Excellent in Both Color and Hair cutting and Styling. and from what I gathered from her portfolio she is Great at Long and Short hair Styles. A True Artist. Try her you will not be disappointed. Im now a permanent customer. Thank You So Much Emily. I now have a Go To Hair Dresser in WNC for All my Hair Care Needs :)

H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E. I do not blame my AWFUL "trim" on the young, inexperienced hair dresser that hacked my hair; rather I blame it on the dumb as a rock receptionist at the front. I specifically told this woman about my hair: it is thick, it is CURLY, it may look tame now but it took me a while to get it this straight. The receptionist should have used her "knowledge" and set me up with someone EXPERIENCED WITH MY TYPE OF HAIR NOT SOME CHICK WHO JUST GRADUATED. this is one of the worst hair trims i have ever had because it was the exact opposite of that..she cut the hell out of my hair. now it is short. VERY SHORT! TOO SHORT! even after i told the hair dresser i want my hair a little longer than my shoulders, only about 1/2 inch taken off she proceeds to take off at least an inch or more. my hair is now SHORT, CHOPPY, NOTHING LIKE I WANTED, & although it took this chick OVER AN HOUR to blow dry & straighten my hair it still came out frizzy & DRY! THANKS!

I LOVE Bliss. Miss Emily has been dying my hair for well over a year. I keep going back to her because she tends to my specific wants with my hair. Im a bit of an odd client what with my normal process being she bleaches my roots, then puts Manic Panic in my hair and lets me leave with it in. I prefer to let the dye sit for a very long time. Ive not gone to a salon before where they let the customer do that. I also love how she has not fried my roots with the bleaching process. Emily even has a perfect plan for how to get my hair back to a normal color without having to strip my hair. I also use Aveda products in my hair. The shampoo and conditioner she recommended are awesome! The salon itself is really nice. Its always super clean and everyone is friendly. Ill be a customer for as long as I live here.

Wow! If you feel like no hairstylist can ever get your hair to look the way you like you need to go see <<>> at Bliss in Hendersonville. She is amazing. I went in four times to a salon to get my hair lightened and never left with the look I wanted until Amanda did my hair. I will never go to anyone else. I highly recommend visiting her for anything you want done. Bliss Salon is by far my favorite. Its really clean and the staff and stylists are very friendly.

Awesome place! The receptionist is friendly and helpful as well as the rest of the staff there. My personal favorite stylist, Emily is awesome everytime and always is great to talk to when I get cut. I always had to deal with awful haircuts from my mom and other places that had no idea what they were doing. But bliss is great and everyone there gives top notch service not one complaint!!!!!

Had my first experience at Bliss just recently. Amanda colored my hair and I absolutely love it. She also gave me an AMAZING scalp massage when shampooing my hair. The entire staff was extremely friendly. I even got a hand massage by the owners little boy. Was pampered during my visit. I will definitely be going back to see Amanda in the future for cut and color and the scalp massage!!!!

I had a hairstyle for an important day, I show her the pic of the hairstyle that I want, and she made it completely diferent, she said because my hair was too long , if she had said that from the beginning then I wouldve chosen another hair style and I end it up paying double of what they told me it might cost, for something that I wasnt very happy with.
