We have used childtime for 4 years. Our oldest just graduated to kindergarten last year and our youngest has been then there since he was 3 months old and he is now almost 4. We actually drive 8 miles in the wrong direction from our home and work to go to childtime. We needed a daycare that fit our budget but did not sacrifice care or environment. The teachers at childtime care about the kids and parents. They take the time to stop and ask questions about your life. My son was struggling with potty training and they have gone above and beyond. The associate director went so far as she brought him in a special treat to reward him for mastering the potty. We could not afford the daycares with the web cameras etc, but I truly have no concerns about my children when they were at childtime. The entrance is secure with keypad entry and the teachers love and care for my kids. I dont have to see into the classroom with a web cam because I can see into the heart of my kids. They are excited to go to school and hug their teachers when they walk in the door and when they leave give them high fives. That only comes from a daycare that truly cares about the children. Finally, when it comes to learning, my kindergarten age child entered kindergarten ahead of many of his peers. He could do math, writing, and upper level problem solving for his age group. This was all based on his time at Childtime. My three and half year old went through the house last night singing the spelling of his name and quizzing me on what is "1+1, 2+2, etc". Bottom line you will have a positive experience at childtime :)

I never write online reviews, but I felt it important to share a great experience. Having recently moved to Raleigh, finding a day care center that I could have confidence in was the most challenging part of our transition. My 3 year old started at Child Time of Raleigh 6 months ago, and we couldn’t be happier! This center has consistently epitomized professionalism and organization. The staff has been incredible… they have been patient, caring and flexible with our family’s (admittedly complex) needs. The director, Ms. Virmeche, is always available, knowledgeable and never without a warm smile and a patient ear. The facility itself is very clean and inviting - genuinely cheerful, thanks no doubt to the support staff who seem to be as attentive to detail as the administrators and teachers. My son’s teacher, Ms. Alicia, is very gracious, informative and sincerely invested in the kids. The support and assistance that she provided during the final months of my little one’s potty training was terrific. The director and staff are never too busy to discuss my child’s day, and I have been grateful for their responsiveness to us. My family feels so fortunate to have found a center that we trust and that our 3 year old LOVES! THANK YOU to the Child Time administration and staff for your exceptional service!

OMG!! I am happy for the last 16 people who reviewed this center, but I have to share my parents recent experience. They had nothing but good things to say about this school and even wrote a review last year. Yesterday my dad went to pick up my child early and boy was he mad. He said the teacher was yelling at the kids and saying inappropriate things. He was concerned so he spoke with one director and was told that sometimes people have bad days. Well yeah, but is that what you say to an upset grandfather?????? So he called back and spoke with the other staff manager and was told basically the same thing. Anyone can have a bad day, but obviously anyone should not be managing a childcare center.

This place discriminated against my son for the wrong reasons. I thought highly of this daycare, especially because it has an over the market price. The teacher turn around is ridiculous. My son could never adjust to his teachers. They were switched out weekly. His classmates hit and punched my son multiple times with no repercussions even after I asked about the situation at hand. They put false accusations towards my child and his family to the point where law got involved. The director is not a friendly person and will get defensive when you ask her about what happened with your child. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. This review would not receive any stars if I had that option.

The teachers are very caring and it shows. I had issues at first with the level of communication I received but once I made my expectations on what I wanted clear it changed. I feel like I have a great relationship with the director and all the teachers Ive interacted with and I am comfortable addressing concerns etc. My son has thrived socially and educationally and he enjoys going here which is one of the most important things. No daycare is perfect (we tried quite a few) but you get what you put into it--if you have concerns but wont address them yourself nothing will change. My experience has been anything I question etc has been addressed in a timely manner and hasnt come up again.

As a mom of 4 older kids I never thought daycare was an option for me, when my 5th child arrived and my husband and I had to look into daycares. We dreaded plenty of places in the past where we walked in and walked right out. Once we enter Childtime we felt 100% comfortable with the surroundings and with the idea of having our son attend daycare. We are 100% satisfied with the care they provide and love the updates we get on our phones throughout the day on our sons progress. We couldnt pick a better place that treats our son with such love and care. Everyone there is so friendly and caring that the amount of love they have for our son and the other children there is priceless.

I wrote an email a year ago to the school to say how wonderful the teachers are and I was asked by the Director to post a review online (I did think that was kind of strange), anyway I did. As you can now see I have deleted that post all together for it doesnt hold true anymore. This school WAS a good school and had great potential. The staff is GREAT but they do not seem to have the help they need to keep classes in ratio or the materials needed for learning. The management team does not seem to have it together there (when they are actually there). I would not recommend this center to anyone.

Childtime has been our childcare provider for almost 2 years now. I have one child that went through the pre K program and loved it! She learned so much to help prep her for Kindergarten and we are only part timers! My other child actually became actively potty trained while at daycare! We love everything this center has provided for our children! The teachers are so loving and nurturing, the directors are very involved and communicate extremely well, and the center is equipped to serve every childs need! I would recommend this center to anyone looking for childcare or even a preschool!!

Childtime of Raleigh is a very well oiled machine! My son loves Childtime and the staff there. The administration and teachers spend special time with the little ones. My son is 4 years old and he is already counting to 10 in spanish, knows his colors in english and spanish and is currently learning to write his ABCs. The staff is well organized with a monthly newsletter, weekly lunch menu as well as fun activities for the kids to enjoy during the summer months. We have had such a positive experience with Childtime and I would recommend it to anyone with kids needing child care.
