Hello I am reaching out to get in touch with the owner of the studio since I can not get in touch with her any other way she will not return my calls or email so this will be my last attempt to reach out before I go to police , I spoke with the owner yesterday about charges to my card of $127.50 and I just looked at my account today and seen another charge of $45 from 10-23 thats I was totally unaware of Im not sure of why the company is charging me. I spoke with the owner on one occasion about bringing my daughter in for a tour of the studio and to test it out to see how she would like it, the owner stated she would of be in that weekend due to a competition/pArade she had to attend with other students but to bring my daughter in to try out the studio. Once I arrived to the studio there was a white lady at the front desk at she handed me forms that were required to fill out which also included a form with my debit card information and she stated that if we decided to not come back then they would Just rip the paper up that had my card number on it. I called back the following Monday and spoke with the lady that was at the front desk when we came on the previous Saturday and I told her that we would not be coming back and that my daughter wanted to try out a different studio and to make sure my card would not be charge and she stated no mam your card will not be charged and I will let the owner know. I have tried and tried to get in contact with the owner numerous time I did speak to her once and she hung up the phone on me and will not answer my phone calls. Right now I am on the process of filing a dispute with my bank for these charges and my next will be to go to the police because dance attitude is stealing money from me, I have not spoke to anybody personally to confirm these charges before they were just taking from me I regret coming in for the test run I regret leaving my card information with the company but as stated before this was required by the dance studio, my daughter has been enrolled in ninth street dance studio in Durham nc for the last 3weeks and I have proof of that so Im not understanding at all why dance attitude is charging me I dont even no what the charges are for we have not received any classes from dance attitude we have only been there once for a live your of the studio and test run. Can someone please get in contact with me concerning this problem I just want my money and for this to be settled thats all I do not want to argue with the owner o have never had to deal with anybody like her in business she is very disrespect she called me a liar and hung up on me snd will not return my calls and I have no reason at all to lie about anything there is nothing to lie about

SO GLAD THAT IT IS CLOSED!!My 5yr old daughter attended this school for several months, starting approx.07/2016 because it was convenient to my home & my daughter really took to Ms.TSCHANIA (who was in the process of purchasing the business). Around 10/2016, I stopped seeing Ms. TSCHANIA; & 11/2016, an order was apparently placed for a $70 costume, that she was never fitted for, & for a recital to be held 06/2017!!! I unenrolled her in 03/2017 after my daughter NOR the instructor was showing any interest. I gave appropriate written notice & was told that someone would contact me the costumes arrived. Well, 07/2017, NO ONE called or emailed. I called & called...no answer/busy signal & after 2 weeks, I went to the school only to see what looked like an indoor yard sale. I obtained her costume, of course when I got home & had my daughter to trt it on, itwas too small!!! Plus, it clearly was not worth $70!! I immediately returned to the school, asked where Ms. TSCHANIA, some woman syated that she "had to let her go". Oh, but wait..I asked about the sale of items (costumes, shoes, etc.) & was told that the school was closing for good. What?! Than why tell me that you "had to let {Ms. TSCHANIA} go" Very unprofessional to say the least! Again, Im pleased that they are closing & I hope that Ms. TSCHANIA is still teaching dance & is happy!

I have had a wonderful experience with Dance Attitude. I took an adult dance class with Miss Christina and really enjoyed it. The studio is very family friendly and well organized. I have taking dance for many years and I can say this studio knows what they are doing. The owner Miss Kathy is very organized and I love how well the recials run so smooth. About the negative review from DanceDad, please do not even take that review into consideration. I feel that this school is a family friendly school not a competive school. If they didt want a "recreation" type school then they should of went somewhere. The teachers here do work on technique but its not the style of the studio to push push push. I think you can only push as much as the student wants it. And the last comment to the review....some of the best dance teachers or not the best dancers. And some of the best dancers have no idea how to be a good teacher. Dance Attitude is a great studio, so go check it our for yourself.

We love Dance Attitude! The entire studio has a welcoming, family environment. Ive danced since a child and never felt as comfortable and involved as I have at Dance Attitude. Everything is run smoothly and professionally from how to register for classes, how information is disseminated to families, how classes are run, and of course the end of year recital. The owner strives to make it a wonderful experience for all and takes so many small details into account. I love the different class options and feel confident in taking class from any/ all of the energetic, talented teachers. Ive taken adult classes with Miss Christina and love how she challenges, while working with different levels of experience that adult classes encompass. Ive also taken clogging with Miss Sarah and had the opportunity to perform at WinterFest in Raleigh. Miss Sarah did a great job integrating her youth and adult dancers into an exciting fun number.

We really loved Dance Attitude! My brand new ballerina looked forward to going to Dance School every Saturday. The instruction was perfect for my four year old who absolutely loves dancing and socializing. She made several best friends in her class, and loved her teachers who took their time with the little ones. There is a recital at the end of the season instruction period, and the children are able to perform for family and friends. I would recommend Dance Attitude to anyone looking for excellent dance instruction at a great rate!

Took our 2 year old to creative movement. Miss Ashley was the teacher. She was not very engaging or energetic and most of the class was just standing around and silent. There was no positive interaction or reinforcement and she seemed at a loss with this age group. Weve done Little Gym and the teachers there were great, engaging, and enthusiastic. I felt badly for all the kids in this class, including my own.
