My daughter was taking Ballet, Tap and, Jazz classes at Dance Explosion for the past two years and loved it. We moved and tried a dance school closer to our house. She is five and I was told she was too advanced for the same age group at the other school. I know that she is that advance due to the wonder instructor she has had at Dance Explosion. We were not happy with the other dance school. My five year old said the people at the other school did not know about dance etiquette. I have sent many e-mails and had many phone conversations with the owner of Dance Explosion and she has been nothing but helpful and always so nice. She has worked very hard to have classes that have worked with my busy schedule. We are looking forward to many more years of dance with the wonderful people at Dance Explosion.

My daughter has had a wonderful experience with classes at Dance Explosion. My daughter has taken classes on and off for a couple years now and my youngest daughter will start this fall. We had previously attended another dance school in Charlottesville and were disappointed with the instructors interest in working with children, as well as the school’s organization and fees. I feel that my daughter has learned more technique and proper ballet terms at Dance Explosion. The school’s attire requirments are reasonable for young children and Miss Lea is great with the children! I have also taken Adult classes that I have been happy with. Christine L.

We had been very unhappy in another school in the area before we found out about dance explosion. Im so glad we found this dance school! The staff are excellent and our granddaughter learned so much more there in a few weeks than she had in a whole year at the other school. All the teachers are very helpful and great with the children and parents. They try to be as helpful as they can in every aspect of the program. I tell everyone if they are looking for a dance program , I know a great school. We are going into our third year at the school and hope to have many, many more.

My daughter has been taking classes at Dance Explosion for a year and will continue for a long time. I have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of the instruction at this impeccably-run studio - teachers are fun, playful and yet at the same time very challenging. As a newcomer to dance, my 7-year-old was taught the basics of tap and jazz over 10 weeks and I couldnt believe the professionalism of the final performance to a packed theater! Highly recommended!!!

I emailed about taking classes, twice, and they lady that responded was not helpful and didnt seem to want my business anyway. When I asked about classes on a certain day, she said look at the schedule on the website. How rude...

I love this place. Director is great, so down to earth. I feel my 4 yr old gets the right combination of technique and fun for her age. Recitals are so professional. Great place.
