Ive been going to this location for the last few months. The prices for the tiers are affordable and the amenities included are a definite bonus. Being just down the block from my apartment is even more beneficial; plenty of time to get out of my work clothes and get started (unless I just want to use the locker). Plenty of machines and free-weights that are easy to learn and use. The staff at this location are always friendly and helpful. They maintain the gym well and are always around if you need anything. You can work at your own pace and never feel pressured to work outside of your comfort zone by trainers or other patrons. I have joined in with the specialized classes. They are quite enjoyable. (If only they were more available to my time away from work during the week). As long as I live in Raleigh, you will see me at the Six Forks Planetfitness!

Nothing special to talk about this place. After 9 months of membership and I want to canceled becasue i dont have time to go there anymore but they wont let me so i said i want to cancel when my memberships aniversary date coming due in August and they wont let me do that either. They told me to come back on that day or send in a letter by certified mail in order for me to cancel the membership. They also refused to refund my annual memberhip fee for next year that they just charged like 2 day ago since i am not renewing my membership. I cant even talk to a manager by phone. They told me that i have to come in during the time their manager was there to speak to him. So I ended up paid them another $58 to buy out my membership. What a rip-off. I will fill a complaint with the BBB.

I went into Planet Fitness and canceled my membership in January 2017. I was told by the associate working at the front desk that I would have access to the gym until the end of the month because I had already paid up for the month. I was on a month-to-month membership, so I didnt have to worry about a contract agreement. However, Planet Fitness continued to draft money out of my account illegally the following month with both the annual fee and the monthly membership fee. I contacted them and they stated they would correct it, they didnt. The next month, I was charged again. Planet fitness did not stop drafting until I changed my bank account number. I have yet to receive a refund!

Very clean gym, and the staff is usually friendly and helpful. Lots of equipment, and they are well organized spatially. The locker room and bathroom are typically clean. Lighting is nice and bright, which matters more than you might think after my experience with other gyms with dim lighting. The only negative is that there are no squat racks or barbell benches. Personally, I dont like the unnatural movements forced on me with the Smith machines. Theres a nice collection of dumb bells, however.

Signed up for a membership here in December. I have had a pleasant experience so far. Its a simple gym, but its all I need. The staff here is actually great, theyre the nicest people, I always get greeted no matter how busy they are. Though great customer service isnt essential to my workout, not having to deal with rude people is encouraging when making myself go to the gym. My one and only gripe is that they are not open 24 hours, or at least more accommodating and longer hours on the weekend.

Easily one of the cleanest gyms Ive ever been to. The facility is open almost all the time, and while it gets pretty busy right after work hours, the staff does a great job of helping each member. Ive never had to wait for a cardio machine, and the number of strength machines makes it easy to workout what Im working on each day. Its rare I cannot get to a certain piece of equipment. Overall, excellent place especially at $10/month.

This location is a huge improvement from the other facilities on Millbrook/Atlantic Ave. There is much more space to workout in and many more machines to use. Even on a very busy day, you can manage to complete a workout without having to wait to use anything. You can tell the staff has been trained to meet/greet/say goodbye to members, which gets old after a while. The bathrooms/locker rooms are generally pretty clean.

Clean and friendly staff. Used to love going to this location. I now will go back to the Knightdale location. However front desk has high turn over and most know nothing about tanning beds or tanning. Recently with my goggles in hand, I was told to show my lotion. (if you tan you know state law you must show goggles) However I said you mean my goggles and she said no your lotion.

Good luck if you ever decide to cancel. They will make you go to your "home gym" to do so. Mine had closed, so they decided to reassign me to a new one without my knowledge. They still make me drive across town to cancel in person. Goodness help the person that moves before remembering to cancel. Since they wont cancel over the phone theyd have to fly back to town. Unbelievable.

Just joined and I love it so far! Ive been there at 1am on weeknights already so Im not sure what those new hours are that the previous rater is talking about. Staff always gives a friendly greeting and the entire atmosphere is pleasant. I was intimidated at first but quickly realized that everyone is only focused on themselves. Will definitely continue my journey here!

5 Stars for cleanliness, but you have no dumb bell bicep curling station. You have the machine which is fine I guess but I prefer to get different movements in and do isolation curls with dumb bells. The other reason for 3 stars is you guys dont have any real weighted bench presses with bars. Everythings machine or dumb bell for chest.

I loved that you were open 24 hours, or at least late. But now your website says BOTH 24 hours! Oh, and we close at 9 M-F, and Oh! We close earlier than that on Saturdays and Sundays. My plan was to join TODAY with a friend who doesnt even get off work until 8pm on weekdays. Guess well be looking elsewhere.

The BEST gym in all of Raleigh. I absolutely love it. Its clean and the staff are absolutely amazing and nice. I always see them cleaning and smiling at everyone. Donald is very nice and such a hard-worker. The manager and owner are both very nice as well. I enjoy coming here! :)

I havent been to this location yet, but I was considering it since its closer to my house. However, I find it surprising that the owner only responds to the positive comments and has nothing for those with complaints. Makes me question my move...

This gym is the best deal in town for a quality place to work out. Facilites are very clean and everything is well maintained. Staff are excellent and there is training available to match your fitness goal.

This is the worst PF I've been to the equipment needs to be replaced, at least 3 were out of service.. your very limited here! Only thing good I can say was the staff was polite like all the others.
