Planet Fitness has equipment-that is all. It is not worth it to your frame of mind to pay the cheap prices. $10 or $20 a month does not leave money for customer service training. The staff are undertrained except in cleaning up obssessively and even interuppting your work out to do so. They are so focused on their duties, they dont know how to interact with people. NONJUDGEMENT ZONE. That is why a siren rings (trademarked by the corporation) as if that is not judging. Most people hear the dropping of the weights and are embarrassed enough to not do it again. And how about a gym that provides pizza and bagels once a month, somehow thinking that that gesture is a benefit to the health of this community which needs fresh fruits and vegetables. PF concentrates most of its efforts on their 11th commandment-"thou shalt not talk on thy phone, ever, ever or never in a gym!!" Get real and the post pubescent, calorie challenged PF clones will descend upon you like the Mongolian hordes per chance you forget where you are and spend two seconds asking a colleague to call back. Fit 4 Life and Rocky Mount City facilities are better. People treat you with respect and let you work out. No one is vaccumming around your feet while on cardio machines. The staff dont stand around looking for one chance to express their newly felt sense of ultimate power-that of the purple and gold judgement group. By the way, the old weight-head gyms were much better no matter your marketing message that you use in your materials. Pay the same at Fit 4 Life on Sunset or go to the city clubs for FREE!!

Agreed with jeff gordon, basic equipment, however everything is clean. They dont go over contracts with you hoping you never read it. I found out later on I was charged 40$ annual membership fee after only being there for 2 months, then they raised the fee from 19.99 to 20.05 without saying anything.... yes its only .06 but still, its the thought that counts. Save your time and goto the YMCA

Its a good gym, but I would say some of the staff at some of the locations need to have a good talking to they did not go over the contract with me at all guess good thing I looked it up in more detail online but I do not take this out on the gym everywhere you go know a days you have employees who slack off. Other than that I love the gym its friendly environment.

Cheap memberships means overcrowding. Exercising is an extremely personal challenge for me and planet fitness is way too public. You have to wait for machines, navigate through seas of gym goers, and its full of gymtimidation unlike the advertisements. Id rather take my money to a much smaller more personalized establishment, not the fast food chain of gyms.

I have worked out in gyms all across the world for over 50 years. Planet fitness provides the best most affordable and convenient gym arrangement that I have ever seen. The Equipment the people and the management do an outstanding job particularly Gerald who I believe is the overall manager. Keep up the good work.

Danielle was amazing here. Great and clean facility. Was in town from Colorado for the holidays and she helped me get a temporary pass. Ill send my local friends here for memberships.

Place sucks, this is not a gym for someone who really wants to train and improve themselves. No squat rack, equipment is the worst I have seen in any gym I have ever been to.
