I have been attending First United Methodist Church in Waynesville for the past six months. I am now very happy and excited to say that I am officially becoming a member of First United Methodist Church on Sunday June 11th at the 8:40 service. I feel as though I have finally found my home. the people here are so warm and friendly and they go out of their way to be helpful. I really cant say enough good things about them. And there are so many really wonderful programs and activities provided for all age groups that it is a veritable feast.

Whether your preference is for a wonderful contemporary service or a traditional service with full choir, organ, and liturgy- you could not find a better church home. More importantly, all have the opportunity for service through many local, national and international ministries.

We are joining FUMC Waynesville because of the tremendous loving welcome we have received from both pastoral and lay members. We thoroughly enjoy services, Sunday school, activities, and outreaches. Communication from and among the staff is outstanding. We are always "in the loop," even before we can officially join!

We love all of the music opportunities and the Faith Sunday School class just rocks. If you like a traditional worship service, you should come join us at 11:00 and enjoy a great message in song and the spoken word.

The activities are non-stop and there s something for all ages. The after school opportunities for children are wonderful. Love the music program especially. The sanctuary is so inviting and worshipful.
