This place is close to my house and I was referred there by a friend. I only went there 3 times because I got fed up with the male owner of the place charging me one price when I dropped things off and then when I would arrive to pick them up his wife would inform me (with no apology whatsoever) that her husband was mistaken in what he had charged me and I actually owed ____ $ amount of money more. The last straw was when I brought a dress in for a simple hem and the husband quoted me $15 - and then I went back in and his wife informed me it would be $30 ! Unacceptable and very unprofessional.

First time there (and last) I dropped off our luxury down comforter for drycleaning. Picked it up without a word said to me. When I got home I noticed a large piece of what I thought was tape on it. I peeled it thinking it was put there by mistake only to find a HUGE HOLE! They had patched what they had torn and not even bothered to A)TELL ME! B) Discount! - I would not and have not ever been back. If you want quality service use Cedar Cleaners on Market.

I took three suits there to have them cleaned nd pressed. They already had the forever creases built into the pants so I thought, whats there to worry about?? Well, two of the pants came back and there was a second crease abut 2.5 inches from the center crease and the third she admitted to screwing up and said "come back tomorrow and I fix". I came back the next day and it was worse than the other two. Bad idea to go here!

Hanover Cleaners is one of the bright spots of Wilmington. The staff is friendly and talented at alterations - I have been taking my cleaning here for 3+ years with absolutely no mishaps. Needless to say, they absolutely rock at removing cat hair from garments.
