Outstanding service and repair work for the price! I spilled Pepsi all over the keyboard area of my wifes brand new Toshiba laptop, we immediately turned it off, unplugged it, and dried it off turning it upside down to dry out. We waited a full two days before attempting to turn it back on..and nothing..not even a power indicator light. I called several places in town and explained exactly what happened, they all ask me to bring it in for a diagnoses, which we did the next day at two different places. These guys were the only ones that called us back the same afternoon to let us know that it got inside the DC voltage area of the motherboard shorting out some components. To make it short..they had it in 100% working order the next afternoon with a full guarantee on the work for half of what we were quoted at the other place that looked at it. It has been over two months and it is still running perfect! We highly recommend this place for the quality of work and the prices.

I brought in a network storage drive that basically had all of my personal data (family pictures and videos) after it would no longer appear on my home network. I initially contacted the manufacturer of the drive, they would replace it, but data recovery was recommended through their 3rd party affiliate. They quoted me $800-$5000, so obviously I looked for another option. I found Silicon Savior doing some online searches and Billy contacted me via email within minutes of my initial online query. Billy was very helpful and reasonable. Turned out that my device had to be shipped off for advanced data recovery due to the type of failure (partition table corruption). The price of this was very reasonable, Silicon Savior handled all of the coordination (shipping and receiving and communications with the lab). Overall, after my experience was very positive.

I have known the owner, Billy, for a little more than a decade and still consider him one of the best, so much that I still call and use him even though I have moved to South Carolina. I have never known him to be dishonest or try to sell me unnecessary products or services. I appreciate his knowledge and commitment to his clientele in trying to educate them in order to help them be more self-sufficient and proactive in the upkeep of their computers... Had a very good experience here. Girlfriend and I are in different states for a bit, and I helped her build her own PC over Skype. After it was all said and done, we got no video out. She took the PC in to Silicon Savior, and within a few days, The PC was ready to go, new motherboard and all, for only $80. When my gf forgot a few cables at home, they called and asked if she had them/could bring them by so she wouldnt be charged extra. This was one of the best repair experiences Ive had, be it car, PC, or anything else. Prices were very good, and service was excellent when I was very afraid gf would be screwed over. Couldnt recommend this store more. Edit: SS even did some very nice cable management!

I typically dont write reviews but I felt obligated to after my experience with Silicon Savior. I was charged $120 to have my computer cleaned, a bit steep but its a job I cant do. After getting my computer back I noticed a rattling from a piece of plastic inside my computer that I was told had been found and removed during the cleaning. About a week later I also noticed that my keyboard casing kept popping up, turns out he also cracked that under my spacebar and didnt bother to mention it. There are several other computer repair shops in Wilmington, I definitely wouldnt recommend this one.

I was having a problem with my Office 365 programs "not responding" and took my laptop to Billy. He was very thorough in describing what the potential problem(s) could be and the process for fixing them. I dropped my laptop off Fri. AM and it was fixed on Mon. AM. I would highly recommend The Silicon Savior and Billy for anyone who needs work done on their laptop or PC. Billy is very knowledgeable and the cost was very reasonable. I will be taking my computers to The Silicon Savior in the future for any problems or maintenance that needs to done.

Ive had a broken cover hinge on my 17" HP Touchsmart laptop. I found a nearest computer repair shop crew of which didnt have any idea how to approach this problem. My computer was there for three weeks and then they told me that it was impossible to find a spare parts. I took my laptop to Silicon Savior Computer and was pleasantly surprised. The problem was quickly identified and spare part was found and Ive got my computer back the same day as spare part arrived to the shop. Good job! I would highly recommend this shop!

Silicone Savior saved my laptop in 2015 when it was broken. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and most of all recommended the least expensive fix to my machine. My experience was absolutely positive. Recently our Mac dropped to the floor and broke the screen. Without any hesitance, I brought it to Silicone. Billy examined it and recommended the most cost-efficient and common sense based repair. I am extremely happy with this repair shop and will recommended it to anyone.

Silicon Savior has once again saved our computer. Billy did thorough diagnostic testing and clearly explained what he believed to be the issues. He explained what he did to keep the issue from recurring and what he would do if issue should recur. Very patient with and shows much respect to customer. Charges are reasonable. I highly recommend Silicon Savior.

The service and repair was fine, and I would have used them again, but then... email after email. I clicked the button to opt out... fine for a while, the the emails returned. Now Im asked to review. Heres my review: If dont want to be hounded by a barrage of emails - DONT GO THERE! Needs to be renamed SILICONE SATAN.
