I love that the team at Innovative always make us feel like family. I also love that I can trust that Im never "recommended" to have something done on my car unless it actually needs done. As a women, I depend on that trust because Ive been taken advantage of at other shops because they figured I wouldnt know the difference. I drove a 15 year old car that never gave me any problems because Tammy Jo and Adam made sure everything was taken care of. Now, I have a brand new car and rather than go back to the dealer for my oil changes, I just go to Innovative. Im not messing with my new car. I want someone I can trust!

One star is not a low enough rating for Innovative Autocare on Main St in Akron,Oh. They tried to charge me double for repairs that did not need completed. I wanted them to evaluate a car I was purchasing from a dealer. They did not even drive the car for an inspection. They attempted to charge me due to my radiator hoses appearing old, the hoses are not leaking or wore down. They didnt even diagnose my original complaint. Which was incredibly obvious when driving the car. I am so unhappy with my experience and cannot believe they would take advantage of a customer like that.

We have used this mechanic shop a few times now. The mechanic is very honest and does great work. One vehicle we brought in, and he was unable to absolutely diagnose the problem or if the work he did would fix it, so he told us that straight up and discounted the charge for the diagnosis of the vehicle because he felt he had not properly served us. It was because of his honesty on that occasion that we returned to him.

I do most of my own automotive repairs, but when the job is somthing that I cant do myself, or I just need the help, this is where I go. A local mechanic that is honest and you can trust is hard to find. Jeff is top of the line, he is straight forwrd and I trust him.
