When I first went to the gym, I was greeted by warm & friendly faces. The gym is very beautiful inside, has many options to get well & healthy physically and spiritually. It was very clean and organized. Some of the staff, I am still friends with. The problem I had was when exactly the membership ended. I signed up for a year which costs around $43 per month. I "thought" the membership ended after that year that I signed up for. But, it does not end, it carries over. I was unaware of this. I contacted them by phone explaining my situation, the girl at the desk who answered was very nice and forwarded my message to Bethany who is the manager there. Bethany responded back promptly the next day. She canceled my account, but could not refund the money for the month paid outside of the one year agreement. They had no problem waiving the 30 day written notice, but could not refund the money even though I will not be using the month, nor even visiting the grounds. I explained this, their reply was, "They do not care if the money spent is used or not." I could tell Bethany was getting frustrated with me over the phone due to the comment, "I am not being rude." Either way, whether I get a refund or not, I encourage all who attend this gym, read the fine print and ask questions before signing up on a membership. Make sure you have a clear understanding of what you will pay prior to any agreement. The people there are awesome, the gym was awesome, but a little mishap like this on my part & others can make a difference in your experience. Would I recommend people there? Yes& No, yes because it is a great place, no because if you do not fully understand what you are doing with your money spending it there, you will be out that money and just have to deal with the loss.

WAY to expensive for a confusing membership and RUDE staff. Its bad enough every time i went there, it smelled of gym socks - every time. There is no daycare facility or spa/sauna/pool area. The "perk" tanning salon within is a joke. Tried tanning multiple times at their max time and nothing. But the debit to my account, AFTER my membership was over and the RUDE way i was treated by the staff was the last straw.

Not enough can be said about this place. For an average cost of a gym membership, you get access to a TON of equipment, a pretty aesthetically pleasing place to be, and the gym isnt (to my experience) crowded. If you ever need any supplements, they offer a pretty decent general selection there like protein and pre-workout supplements. Best gym in the area, open, good hours, and a very helpful staff.

Very nice facility a lot of equipment and never crowded . Al the owner did a nice job with this property and kept architecture in tact keeping in tune with the community. I pay for a year at a time up front which is the best deal I think. A plus for Barberton and the workout community!

My all time favorite gym! Multiple rooms, tons of equipment, even a room with heavy bags and a speed bag! I definitely recommend this gym!
