My hot water tank broke and they were able to fit me in first thing the next day, despite calling them later in the day. They gathered all the information they needed (what was installed, how old, serial numbers, etc.) and came with everything they needed to repair or replace. In my case, they quickly assessed that the tank was irreparable and had to be replaced. They already had a replacement tank ready to go and were able to completely remove the old one and install the new one in a couple of hours. Everyone was very nice, informative, professional, and the whole process was organized and smooth. Mike, the installer, was really great. If I had a suggestion, I would say it might have been nice if they discussed the possibility of needing replacement when I called in and asked for a price range I was comfortable with, so they could pick a tank that I was prepared for in case it did have to be replaced. However, I realize its probably not feasible to predict what the situation is going to be like and what will work for a particular site, so its probably not fair to penalize them for that.

Luke and Carl did a fabulous job installing a new kitchen faucet and new toilet. They took time to explain the cost up front as well as explained how things worked afterwards. They wore shoe covers (important to me). They initially were only going to replace the kitchen faucet but when I explained how I had a leak I couldnt determine the source, they investigated and mentioned it may have come from an upstairs toilet due to certain events which can occur. This made sense. I was planning on replacing the toilet in the near future anyhow, so I requested they order a toilet and we could setup a separate service call to install that when it came in. They said they would see if there was a toilet ready, they made a call, and 15 minutes later, another truck arrived with the toilet and they installed the toilet during the same visit, which saved me from paying for a separate service call. Very responsive, courteous, calm, professional!

I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling which is on the second floor of my home. I expected the worse case scenario in terms of the cause of the problem, disruption to my kitchen during the Holiday season and anticipated cost of repairs. Carl and Mike took great care to investigate all possible root causes. They were confident they found the problem and came up with a simple solution. Additionally, they looked at a few other problem areas for me and answered all my questions. I had used Approved Plumbing in my former home several years back because they responded quickly, resolved the problem and I felt I could trust them. I was satisfied then and am very satisfied now. They are very professional, competent and customer oriented. They listen and respond. I highly recommend Carl and Mike and Approved Plumbing.

On Dec. 12, 2015 we had Luke Majestic as our plumber come out to do some work to unclog and repair our bathroom vanity sink. Would like to give him an excellent recommendation for all the work he performed. He done a very efficient job in taking care of our problems in a timely manner. He was also very thorough in explaining everything to us in regard to the issue going on. He managed to unclog the drain after snaking it out and also repaired our faucet to stop the drip we had. Only problem was the cost was very expensive for all this work but we had to pay it in order to get the repairs completed. Today we had Approved Plumbing come to our house to repair a leaking faucet in our powder room and to replace the faucets to our washer that had also been leaking. Luke was on time and was very efficient and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what needed to be done and took care of both problems. We now have up to date hoses and new faucets for our washer and new hoses and shut off valves in the powder room. We dont anticipate any more problems with either location for a long time. I have to mention that Luke was the first service provider weve had at our home who parked in such a way as to not block our cars. As members of Angies list we did receive a discount on our bill. We will definitely call them again should the need arise.

Terrible interaction with this company. I asked them to come out and diagnose a simple leak I was having. Approved Plumbing came out but but could not diagnose the problem and only after the fact made me aware that they were not licensed to even diagnose and fix this type of issue. This didnt stop them from charging me diagnostic fees, as well as "fixing" several other small issues without permission and against my express wishes to only focus on a single problem (including almost $100 to replace a $3 part and <10 minutes of labor). Unethical, unqualified, unprofessional, rude, and most certainly not recommended. Stay away.

Approved Plumbing (Mike) arrived early - their office called to see if it was OK. The work was involved in the two frost free faucets has to be slightly repositioned within an existing wall. Mike M and Mike R from the initial site review and quote, did a good job of understanding both the technical and aesthetic requirements. Both frost free faucets were fully installed and tested (no issues) within the estimated time and cost. This is our third time to use Approved Plumbing over the past couple of years and Mike Ms second time in our home. If you find yourself in need of a plumber, dont hesitate to give them a call.

Carl & Luke showed up on time and ready to rock my world. The identified the problem with my water tank and handled everything like the professionals they are. It was complicated because they had to deal with the warranty department of the manufacturer. Before I knew it, things were settled and my new water tank should be on the way. I think this company responded exceptionally fast. I tried to get other plumbing companies; it was always voicemail and well get back to ya. Not Approved Plumbing... In my opinion, they ARE Approved!! Call em, you will not be disappointed...

Very pleased with the de-winterization and repair work done by Approved Plumbing. This company tackled a tough job with a house that had been vacant for a long time. They were persistent, thorough, careful, and courteous. Prices were reasonable for the work done. The initial appointment was further out (about 10 days) than I would have liked, but well worth the wait to get such a good team. Thanks Luke and Mike for helping make my rehab house a home once again. We especially appreciated your willingness to prioritize tasks to meet our schedule and move-in needs.. .

This company is always great to deal with. They offer convenient scheduling, and provide a two-hour window of time when the technician will arrive. They email ahead of the appointment with a picture so you know who to expect at your door. The technician who helped me today, Luke, was prompt, polite and efficiently addressed the issues I was having with a sink in my master bathroom. After he completed the work and cleaned up the mess, he wrote up the invoice on his tablet and emailed me my receipt. Pretty much your ideal service call!
