I have been a customer of Instatek for about 4 or 5 years and was always satisfied with my experiences. I recommended this business to many of my friends also. Recently, I had a minor issue with my laptop and took it into Bill as usual, expecting the same positive experience. He assured me that he could easily fix the issue and would have my computer ready for me by the next day. I thanked him in advance and conveyed to him how important it was for me to have such timely service because I am a full-time college student. The next day I received a phone call from Bill letting me know that my minor issue had been fixed successfully, but somehow during his repair, my mouse got broken and that he would have to look into it further. Long story short, 3 weeks later I was told to come and pick up my laptop which was more broken than it was when I brought it in and that he wasnt going to charge me! Needless to say, this was unacceptable and his explanation to me was "these things just happen sometimes". I am very non-confrontational so I sadly walked out and went to the store and bought a wireless mouse. A few days after having my laptop at home, I noticed that my battery wasnt running as efficiently as usual, so I took the battery out and realized that this was not even MY battery! I called him again and he did not apologize and said that I could come back and pick up my battery. I was very disappointed in his character and expected him to do the right thing and he did not. I will not recommend him to anyone ever again.

I am very impressed by Insta-Tek. I did not think that businesses like this existed. Bill the owner first cleaned my computer of all the viruses and junk. Then another time He also installed more memory. With in minutes he was finished. Just recently a new virus tried to take over my computer. I went right to the shop. He fixed my computer on the front counter. He has this policy “If he can fix it on the front counter it’s free.” Who does that? He explains what he is doing and why. He is reliable open late hours. Prices are up front and affordable. Classes are available to learn what you need to know or want to know. He gives great recommendations- for new software. We are so very blessed to have Insta-Tek to help with all of our computer needs. I would recommend this company to anyone. 5 stars!!

Before I meet Bill at Insta-TEK, all I knew how to do is crash computers and get virus. I started going to his free classes, thats right free, and he taught me the ins and outs, and how to navigate, thew my P.C. Its not every day you meet a person with computer smarts and give it away for free!!! (Thank You Bill) In my title I added a word to his business card, RELIABLE, not only will he become your teacher, he will also become your friend, got a P.C.problem? call Bill. Back up Geek Squad, theres a new man on the block, he is Bill @ Insta-TEK. And to the crooks that broke his window, beware!!! Gods wrath is on you!

We have had several computer repaired by Insta-TEK. Our first computer we brought in we KNEW was infected with a virus. They quoted us $75 and promised they would not reload our computer and loose our data. We got our computer back faster than ever and all our data was still there. Our second computer we brought in we were again quoted $75. When we came to pick it up they told us it was only $40 since they did not find any viruses. That computer runs great now. We will never take our computer any where else.

Very happy with the repair made on my Lenovo laptop by Bill. I thought my hard drive was toast, but it turned out to be a Windows problem that prevented my computer from starting or even being restored from my system backup. I am usually able to fix my own computer problems, as I am pretty technical, but this problem stumped me. Bill had it fixed and back up and running in a couple days, for a reasonable price. I am very impressed and recommend Insta-TEK highly.

Took my computer here a few years ago. Had some Windows 7 boot issues. Wasnt even able to get to safe mode. My thought was a dead harddrive. In I think 1 about 2 days he had my computer running again for a very reasonable price. Before I took it in I was almost ready to give up and live without a computer for a few months. Cant recommend enough.

I took my computer to another place (which shall remain nameless) but they wanted over $250.00, AND Id lose all my date and photos. Not only did they fix my computer, (for a fraction of the price), but I didnt lose any of my stuff. So many people just dont realize there are options out there. So go to Insta-Tek, and tell a friend!!

What a great place! I just picked up my laptop, which wasnt working since I spilled water on it last week. I only dropped it off yesterday, yet by today it was fixed and working great, and all for only $35! He diagnosed it while I was there yesterday, and by today it wasdone. We are lucky to have a great place like this around!

Just needed a diagnosis on my laptop so I knew what needed to be fixed. Bill pinpointed the problem right in front of me within 5 minutes and it was free. Bought the required part myself, replaced it, and laptop is working great again. Thanks! Would recommend to friends!

Bill Locke is a top notch tech,that fixes laptops,desktops,ect.ect.. The man is the jack of all trades and the king of alot of them. He has very good prices and most importenly he is !!!!!!! VERY,VERY HONEST!!!!!!!
