We started our son with in-home care providers for the first 18 months of his life. For numerous reasons, it didnt work out, leaving my husband and I stressed and frustrated. Tired of shuffling him between different babysitters, we finally decided to try a daycare center. We interviewed several facilities in the area and were immediately impressed with Rainbow Child Care Center in Centerville. The facility is bright, cheerful and very clean and well kept. My sons favorite areas are the playground and the large gym where he can run and play, and burn off all of that energy! The staff is amazing! From the moment we set foot inside for our initial interview, everyone has been so friendly and helpful. They helped make the transition from in-home care to a daycare center easy for all of us. It is evident that they love their jobs and the kids. In the 11 months my son has attended Rainbow, Im continually amazed to see how much he has learned and developed -- socially, emotionally and verbally -- through his interactions with other kids, the great staff, and the learning experiences he is exposed to daily. Moving our son to Rainbow was the best decision we could make for his care, growth and development.

I thought my daughter was at a great childcare center until she turned 3 and it just seemed like everyday was a free-for-all. I expected the daily events to be much more structured and focused on preparing for kindergarden. Which is exactly why we moved her to Rainbow. I love that they have the weeks schedule posted on the wall so I can check and see what activities and skills they have planned for the day. Plus they send home "dinner talk" slips that provide a topic for parents to ask their kids about what they learned that day. Ive defintely seen an improvement in my daughters academic skills and confidence. I attribute this to Rainbows robust curriculm which include Spanish, math and science, computer skills and much more all set in an environment that encourages free thought and creativity. The staff is great and its in a great location for us (on our way to work and close to home). Plus once my daughter is school age, they have a bus that will take her and pick her up from school!!! My only suggestion for improvement is that I would like to see more hot items on the breakfast menu.

When people ask me do I know of any great daycares or whether my boys go to daycare. I dont hesitate to tell them about Rainbow Child Care Center in Centerville. I have two sons that are 3 & 1. They have only been going to the center since January, but I feel like we made a great decision. From their very first day the teachers and staff have been wonderful. It really does feel like a home away from home. I love the fact that all of the instructors have degrees and experience. Their days are structered and I feel as though my boys have learned so much already from just being there a short period of time.This was a very hard decision for us to finally put them in daycare but I am gald that we did. Your children arent something that you trust to many people with but I can honestly say that when I drop them off in the morning I know that they will be well taken care of and looked after. This is a wondeful place full of wondeful people that honestly enjoy what they do and are also great at it. I believe that Rainbow Child Care Center is one of the BEST daycares in the area.

My 3 children have been attending Rainbow since last August. It was a difficult decision for us to switch daycare providers at that time but we could not be happier with our decision! Nancy and Kerri have welcomed us into the Rainbow family and all of our fears were put to rest. They have a wonderful educational program and the teachers are ALL truly friendly and genuine. The gym and outdoor playground equipment are loved by my children. You know they love going there when they choose to "go see my friends at Rainbow" over an extra mommy day. I also love that the food and snacks are provided, as well as offering a diapers and wipes program. It makes getting out the door in the morning a much easier experience. My children have loved Rainbow since we toured the facility in June of 2011. It is a bright environment with a lot to offer. My girls are in the school-age program and they absolutely love Ms. Britney. She fills the summers with fun & educational activities while the school year keeps my Kindergartner engaged in educational activities & allows my 2nd grader time to do her homework (with help if needed). Rainbow is a fun and educational environment & Im glad to have found a facility that raises the standard for child care.

Rainbow is the perfect place for my child. The rooms are very big and very clean. The gym and toddler mat areas are fantastic places for kids to play during the winter and on cold/rainy days. The lesson plans and schedules are posted so I can see what my child will be doing that week. The room layouts and toys are age appropriate. Most importantly, the teachers are well trained and really care about the children!

My three children all attend and all LOVE Rainbow! Two of my children attend after school and they always have so many wonderful and exciting things to tell me about the few hours that they are there! There is always a warm inviting feeling and I am asked on the weekends,"Is today a Rainbow day?" So glad to be a part of such an awesome place!

Professional and caring staff! We have been taking our son to Rainbow for 5 months now and have been absolutely pleased with the environment he spends his days in. The infant room is always clean, bright and spacious. The teachers are always smiling and friendly. Our son is always happy and we feel safe leaving him at the center.

The children love being Ms. Lauras little friends. Ms Dana greats us every morning with a smile. Ms Kim and Ms Jennifer positively reinforce good behavior for my son and daughter. Ms. Jennifer has worked wonders with potty training our son. Ms Kims emphasis on doing homework during afterschool care is very much appreciated!

Our son has been going to Rainbow since it opened, and he loves it! The rooms and toys are clean and the teachers are very friendly. We know our son is safe, happy and well cared for when he is there, and that gives my husband and I piece of mind while we are working.

Rainbow has been great for us. We recently moved into the area and needed to find a new daycare. The staff is always friendly and our children love to go there.
