If you are looking for an honest garage this is it. I took my Ranger there after a garage down the street (unnamed) kept my ranger for two days longer than they were supposed to for an engine running problem, the other garage stated I needed to pull the engine apart and they did not have time, so I went to Plain Brothers. I was greeted by a very pleasant girl at reception. They got me in and found the other garage misdiagnosed the problem and a sensor was replaced and it was fixed for much much less than they could have charged me. This is a NAPA certified store which means if they fix something and it goes bad in another town, you can get the part replaced again for free at another NAPA service garage. If their book time says it will take 2 hours to do a job and they do it in 1 hour they charge you for only 1 hour. I will say this is a mechanics garage, if you are looking for a comfy couch and a latte machine this is not the place for you, this is just a garage that does the work right the first time.

It was probably 5 or 6 years ago that a tow truck operator told us about Plain Brothers, and I am so glad he did. In my 30 plus years of going to auto repair places I have never been as happy with anyone as I have been with Plain Bros. They are extremely reliable, their work is excellent, their prices reasonable. They are friendly, AND they are HONEST. Instead of charging us for work, they have at times told us what we can do without having to pay anything. This did not work in their favor; thats what I call honesty. They are always happy to give helpful advice. The customer service is genuine; top-notch. The atmosphere in the waiting area is one of, I would say "community," believe it or not! It seems like everyone are friends. Thats what their customer service under Danielle effortlessly engenders. 5 starts all the way!

Was recommended to this shop from a trusted family friend. The first thing I noticed was the kind of laid-back atmosphere they had there in that old and new customers could talk to them about whatever car problems they had and also some customers would just stop on by and talk about their families and such. When it came to my car problem, they let me know the repair and replacement of parts would cost a few hundred which would be the standard at most shops. And then they did something unexpected and told me about an alternate fix, one that would save me some serious dough! I took the latter route and then they gave me a new customer discount on top of that! So yes I would recommend plain brothers since theyre personable, offer good prices, and do good work on cars. Friendly, fast and reasonable! This place just plain rocks (sorry, bad pun). If you are one of the few remaining people who actually does their own work - this is one of the rare shops that will still press bearings for you. The cost turned out to be 1/4 what I was initially quoted, my grimy parts were sparkling clean when I picked them up and covered with fresh, correct bearing grease and my new bearings were seated nicely. I am impressed, and happy to have found a trustworthy place for my autos. Highly recommended.

I had other mechanics look at my jeeps a/c and given the usual song and dance...."well its this, this or this, youre looking at about 300 and up" without looking at it. So, I finally give up on not having a/c, I bring it to Plain Brothers after reading other reviews. They were right on. It turns out the repair was an easy and quick fix. Not like the production other places made it out to be. Plus, the staff that I met was friendly and unassuming. Im taking my wifes car there next for another a/c issue. Thanks guys!

I have been having my vehicles serviced at Plain Brothers for several years, Danielle, Gary, Steve are amazing. Professional, reasonable and honest pricing and work. Hard to find reliable mechanics. Would not go anyplace else and would not purchase a used vehicle until these mechanics looked it over. Great, people, value and service.
