Shannon did an AMAZING job for my 3/18/16 formal Friday night wedding at The Athletic Club. She not only knocked it out of the ballpark on my hair, but also 3 of my bridesmaids hair, and 2 flower girls hair. She was patient and warm but at the same time professional, keeping everything running smoothly. What made her talent even that much more AMAZING was that I pretty much had no clue as to what I wanted for anyones hair (which is very unusual since I am a very detailed and visual person). The bridesmaids hair looked better than I could ever have imagined! So classy and feminine. As for the flower girls I basically said "good luck" because I thought for sure their thin hair wouldnt do anything. However, being the ultimate pro with lots of experience. She pulled their hair back (that way the curls could not fall out or hair lose its style). Brilliant idea! Plus then they wouldnt mess with it! I never would have thought I putting their hair back! Lastly, my own hair. She had done my hair previously for a boudoir session and I was obsessed with it there. I just wanted more fullness so I bought hair extensions. I asked Shannon about them ahead of time and she was more than willing to use them if that is what I wanted! I will be the first to admit when I first saw my hair I kind of was shocked. It was not exactly what I had imagined. It was very old school (think Jackie Kennedy with a little more curl), poofy, and formal. HOWEVER, after about an hour it loosened up and it was PERFECTION for pictures and for the actual ceremony and reception. I see so many brides that look great for the ceremony, but by the middle of the reception their hair looks messy or has lost all of its style. NOT MINE. My hair looked like perfection when my immediate family and my new husband took a photo in front of our "pink carpet" at 12:15am after the reception had ENDED! I looked like I was ready to get married again! I just needed to TRUST that Shannon is the professional and she knew 100% what she was doing. I also need to say, that when I was concerned with my first impression of my hair, Shannon did not get upset or take it personally. She eagerly tried to adjust it so that it would calm my worries that I didnt look like myself. Shannon truly cares about her brides and wants them to feel and look their best on their big day! I also know that all of my bridesmaids LOVED their hair and didnt feel like "bridesmaids". They felt like they were dressed up going to a fancy gala! The hairstyle that Shannon picked for them to have looked PERFECT with their formal navy sweetheart neckline (with beaded cap sleeves) gowns. Shannon has done my hair on two occasions and had blown me away each time! She will be the first one I call (or refer) for the next big event I need my hair done! Thanks Shannon!

I booked Shannon VERY last minute (the week of the wedding), after a disastrous meeting with a stylist I had let my mother choose (as I did all my planning long distance, and had delegated that task). She came highly recommended by two friends of mine and I was THRILLED she was able to fit me in! It was 91 degrees the day of my outdoor wedding, with a heat/humidity index that called for a National Weather Service warning, and yet, miracle of miracles, my hair looked exactly the same throughout the sweaty evening. (It looked much the same the following morning after sleeping on it too!) I loved especially her judicious use of hairspray...the hold was achieved rather more naturally with a surplus of hairpins. Impressively, she had my entire elaborate chignon (with hair extensions) runway ready in 15 minutes, and that included the consultation! As there was no time for a trial, I had to put my faith in past work of hers I had seen at friends previous weddings. It was almost too good to be true!

Where do I start... Shannon is AMAZING!!! She was great from day 1 of wedding planning to my actual wedding day. During my hair trial she blew me away with my bridal up-do and on my actual wedding day she changed it up slightly and my hair turned out even more amazing!!! She will make you look and feel beautiful on your big day. Ladies, Shannon is your girl and you need to book her ASAP!! Shannon is not only amazing at doing hair but she is someone you want with you on your wedding day. She literally saved my wedding day when my photographer cancelled at 7am on my wedding day. She was one of the first people I called when I got the news. Shannon quickly got on her phone and connected with the many photographers she knows and within 2 hours I had new photographers confirmed and they were AMAZING just like Shannon!! Again, I cant say it enough but Shannon is amazing and you need to book her now for your wedding day!

Shannon was so wonderful to work with! During our hair trial, she made me feel at ease and showed me a few different style options based on my request. If I wasnt liking with the look of a certain piece, she would work with it until I was completely happy with it. On the day of the wedding, all of my bridesmaids came with photos of what they liked. Since Shannon documents her styling on Instagram, it was easy to find inspiration! All of the girls and my mom LOVED their hair and it stayed perfectly all through the night (even with our dancing and intense wind during photos). My hair looked stunning and it was the perfect way to complete my wedding day look. Im so glad to have met Shannon!!

Shannon is amazing!!! I am the pickiest bride ever, and Shannon did such an AMAZING job making my hair look straight out of a magazine! I just wanted to wear it down and curly (and I have super fine hair), and she not only made it look absolutely incredible, but it stayed in all night long in an outdoor July wedding! As if my hair wasnt enough, she rocked out 8 bridesmaids and 2 moms the day of my wedding in perfect time and they all looked so great!! They all loved their hair, and so did I! I highly recommend Shannon, your wedding day is not one you want to take a gamble on! :)

Shannon is truly an excellent stylist. She is incredibly talented and professional and brings a wonderful presence to your wedding day. I was undecided on my final style for my hair and she was flexible to allow me to try multiple styles during my trial. On the day of the wedding, I threw a curveball at her and asked for a high bun which she flawlessly executed. I had complete faith in Shannon on the day and she pulled it off and made me feel incredible while also making my bridal party look beautiful. I would highly recommend her as an addition to your big day!

Shannon was awesome to work with! During the trial she really worked with me to adjust the look to just what I wanted for my big day! On the day of the wedding, she showed up on time, was very professional, and got everyone ready to go on time. I had a very large bridal party, plus mothers of the bride and groom, and she got us all done up perfectly in under 3.5 hours! And let me tell you, we all looked amazing! I highly recommend her services for your big day! She was very friendly and fun, a definite pleasure to work with.
