I used to go here every time I needed my hair cut, and they used to be great. Friendly people working that listened to you and actually worked with you and were helpful. Times have changed however and this place is not what it used to be. I got about 6 inches cut off of my hair a few months ago and the lady that cut it was very impatient. Her name was Ciara I believe. Not to mention she had two kids roaming around the place, presumably her children. She would focus on my hair for a few minutes and then go to the back and yell at her kids. It was a very unprofessional atmosphere. I left there that night with probably the worst haircut Ive had. It was terribly blended and choppy. Anyways, I let it grow out for a few months. I went back a few days ago, and my experience was just as terrible. I stopped in, and it was the same lady working. I should have left right away. I didnt feel welcome at all, and she just gave me a glare and a deep sigh when I walked in. Clearly was annoyed and inconvenienced that I decided to walk in. She was the only one working and I was the only customer. Anyways, I just wanted to talk to her about my hair and get some advice on how to grow my hair out without having it look so messy. She wasnt very helpful, and pretty much told me she couldnt help me. I asked her then if she could just take some split ends off. She did that, and she said it would take maybe a half inch off. She ended up taking about two inches off. She was rushing through it, and it only took about 2 minutes. Meanwhile, she didnt say a word to me. Didnt ask if I was happy with the end result (I wasnt) and she was just singing the entire time. She also checked her phone every minute. She even charged me the full $13 when it should have been charged as a trim for $6. I will never go back to this place again.

10 minutes and I got hacked. A trim on the front of the slant I wanted was 5 inches taken off. He didnt say anything to me other than an initial "what do you want done" and walked away twice because he was more concerned with the next days schedule or whatever. He literally ripped through my hair on the initial comb out without a word. I was also very clear on the underside & wanting 2 inches shorter with an obvious "line" for difference. He didnt even lift the too layer of hair up when he did it, just ran the clippers up under it. I asked if that was going to to give me the "line" I wanted, while he was doing it, and he said "yes." In what world does that even make sense? I have a patch on one side that the clipper didnt touch but should have. & the "slant" is more "levels" than a slant. Sorry I interrupted gossip time in the back. The stylist that was working on a woman when I came in was chatting away with her when I got there, AND when I left. Should have waited for her.

Any other time Ive gone to First Choice I havent had a problem, granted they were other First Choice salons. I came here and got a hack job. She cut off too much hair, I feel like she wasnt totally listening to me. When I opted to skip the coloring I originally wanted to do, she started going in to the whole spiel of 7 day guarantee - which doesnt do me any good bc you cant add back hair! Thankfully, with what little I have left I can still put it into the tiniest of buns and hide away the shoddy bangs until it grows to a more appropriate length.

amazing.... Hayley the stylist there gave me, easily the best haircut Ive ever had.... she is very attentive and helpful she always gives me the best cuts I make sure shes there before I even walk in.... she is also very helpful with buying product she definitely knows her stuff! ask for hayley youll always be in the best of haircare with her.

Do not go here the guy that works there does not listen to what you want. Parted my hair down the middle when cutting instead of where it should have been parted and left strands of hair all over that wasnt even. Not to mention it only took him 10 min to do. Seriously not going back

We walked in to get my daughters haircut and the hairstylist said shed be back in 5 minutes. After waiting 20 minutes we left. Turns out her phone call was that important.
