Let me start off by saying “Hi my name is Lucinda, & I am addicted to eyelashes!” Maria does an amazing job with the application. Every visit is a pleasure as Maria makes me feel comfortable, relaxed, & like an old pal rather than just a client. My lashes always turn out beautifully & I always receive compliments. If you are in search of a more natural looking eyelash extension, individual extensions are the way to go. My lashes normally last me up to 8 weeks. You don’t have to wear mascara or do much to them. I wipe them down with a slightly damp washcloth if there is any makeup or buildup of some sort on them. I recommend you do get a mascara wand like brush to brush your lashes from time to time when needed. Other than that there isn’t much to it but be fabulous! Ladies make your appointment with Maria now, she’s awesome!

Today was my first of many visits to Callatis Spa! I was instantly welcomed with warmth and friendliness. Maria made me feel as if we were old time friends and not a customer. I was pleasantly surprised when she took the time to thoroughly ask me questions about my past spa experiences and tell me a little about herself in general. The room where I received my wax was immaculate. Everything was in place and prepared for my arrival. Maria was meticulous with the application and the sanitation during my entire wax. During the wax we continued to share stories which helped ease my nerves. Ultimately, I left highly satisfied and anticipating my next visit. Not a good experience. She was late for our appointment (didnt arrive until 10:05am to open the shop and our appt was at 10am) and it was only her to do the massage and wax that was purchased for my husband and I. She constantly tried to sell us other treatments (going so far as repeatedly telling me that my skin was bad and the microdermabrasion would clear it right up). I was there for a wax, not a skin consultation. Before my wax she told me she was pretty nervous about doing it because sometimes it didnt turn out very well. The wax BURNED my skin - I know its supposed to be hot, but the wax on my skin was WORSE than it ripping out the hair. My husband liked the massage and the results of the wax were good, but I would never go back since the entire experience was so poor.

I went here a few days ago and got waxed.. Maria made me feel so comfortable. It was my first time being professionally waxed. I talked to her on the phone and she was very sweet, when I got there she took me back to a cute room, got everything together, told me exactly what to expect and we just talked and talked. I was so relaxed. Im not a very shy person but Im not usually comfortable when I have to reveal every bit of my lady parts to a stranger..she didnt feel like a stranger though once we started talking it seemed like id known her for years..I could go back just to talk to her she had such a kind heart and soul and is a beautiful women..she tells u everything u need to do and is very professional..great experience. I will be back soon:)

I would just like to write a review to tell you how much I enjoy my experience with Maria. My mom is the one who got me to start going there, we both get the lash extensions. When I first saw my moms lashes at first I thought they were her natural lashes, and when she told me they were extensions I couldnt believe it! I had to get them myself. They are the best investment I have ever made! it only take a few hours and Maria is very nice and takes her time, you will not be disappointed!

I have been going to Callatis Spa for over 2 years for eyelash extensions and microdermabrasions. Maria is very laid back and easy to work with. She is super gentle and goes above and beyond to make sure Im comfortable. My lashes always look super cute and they last up to 4 weeks. My skin also looks great after peels and microdermabrasions. I recently had a breakout on my forehead. After the chemical peel, my breakout cleared and was healing after a day! I highly recommend!

I have frequented Callatis Spa for about a year now for services. I find the spa cute and pleasant. I am always pampered when I come in for my visits. Maria follows up with me via text when it is time to schedule an appoinment and that makes it easy. Maria does offer additional services and products and lets me know about them when I am there for my visits. I enjoy my appointments at Callatis Spa and always look forward to them.

I got a gift certificate last year for Callatis Spa, I didnt know it even existed to be honest but now I am a regular. I love the quaint and calm atmosphere and the owner Maria is amazing and such an interesting people she is always a pleasure to visit. Located just of Portage trail. I go for a massage sometimes and eye brow work and the occasional facial but I love to try the other things they have to offer.

The place is dirty and disgusting. Look at her wax pot. There shouldnt be residue or "stuff" all over it. I should have left. Maria was very rough and Ive never had a wax hurt this much. I went here because of convenience. I will never be returning and will try and deter anyone else who considers this place for waxing.

I had a mini facial with Maria and I loved it. I had great results afterwards. Yes, it was very painful because she was taking care of my bad acne problem, but it was worth it in the end. I loved the way my skin looked afterwards and I recommend it to anyone that is looking for a great facial with a great woman.

Maria is a technician who is very customer oriented. She will go the extra mile to make sure the client leaves her establishment very satisfied. The first time I called she got me in right away with out an extended waiting period. Once there she makes you feel at home. Worth every penny.
