The absolute worst experience I have ever had at a salon. I decided to try MC Hair after purchasing a Groupon which included a cut and custom color service, apparently a $110 value. I took a photo with me of the hair color that I wanted-- warm brown with light brown very subtle highlights. The colors were blended so there were no harsh lines. What I got was dark brown all over color with YELLOW stringy highlights that were completely uneven and overprocessed. The stylist who was working on me had me move so she could start working on someone elses hair and she did not set a timer for my color. The girl who shampooed my hair stuck her fingers in my ears (ouch!) while towelling me off and nearly scraped off chunks of my scalp as she was lathering. I was sent on my way without the opportunity to discuss whether I even liked the color or the cut-- the stylist literally left the room before I even got to look in the mirror. Before I even got home I knew I hated it, so I called and made an appointment for the next day to fix it. I arrived the next day to the main salon and sat there for 15 minutes before the receptionist told me that the stylist was actually at the other location. I waited another 15 minutes and was sent to the shampoo room where I stayed the entire time. She put toner on and while it darkened the horrific streaks in my hair, it still looked awful and was NOTHING like what I wanted. I was sent out without seeing a mirror and my hair was sopping wet. It was the absolute WORST experience I have ever had at a salon, and that includes places where you can get a cut for $12. My hair looks as though my 10 year old niece helped me use an at home coloring kit and we forgot how long to let it set. AWFUL experience!!! Worst customer service also. I assume the salon did the Groupon deal to bring in new clients because I cannot imagine that they would ever have any repeat customers.

I have personally worked at 5 different hair salons and been to dozens over the years and this one takes the cake. Not only is their staff, friendly, experienced, knowledgeable and consistently good at what they do but the entire salon is beautiful and all their products are amazing. I was referred to the salon by a friend and my hair stylist has now become one of my most amazing friends. The owner is an amazing woman who should be commended not only on hiring great people, but ensuring that the salon is kept in great condition and that everything they do is excellent. From their charities to support women who have experienced domestic violence to allowing their stylists to teach classes within its walls. I had my wedding party at the salon and it couldnt have been more perfect. Even their pricing is extremely reasonable for the quality you receive. Any bad recommendation would have to be based out of some other reason because I cannot think of one bad thing about MC. Truly a great place that anyone should feel at home and beautiful within.

By far my favorite place for a haircut. Went in for a trim and touch up on my layers. I have thick wavy red hair (and a lot of it!) Most of the times when I go in for a trim, I opt to just have my hair blown dry, but not styled. Usually, my hair ends up being pretty poofy (at other salons that is). At MC Hair, they somehow managed to make my hair look extremely glam.. from just the trim and blow dry. Which I was absolutely thrilled with! Their facility is gorgeous too. Its like seeing a Pinterest board in real life. The stylists are all super friendly. These girls know what theyre doing! I highly encourage checking out their Instagram where they post pictures of cuts & dos etc. Be ready to expereince hair envy though. Genuinely excited for the next time I need a haircut.

THE BEST ! I have been going to Lisa Madden at MC for years and have always been very happy with my hair. Being somewhat money conscious but feeling I Deserved a Facial and a relaxing visit I decided to expand my MC experience and made an appointment with Gayle. This was an Amazing Experience - A moment for ME (which we all deserve!) Gayles knowledge of products and touch was More than worth my visit. My skin looks radiant (to the point Ive been walking around telling people to touch my face- lol.. So Soft and now moisturized !) -- Shoulders / Neck and Hands.... ahhhh Heaven ! Thank You GAYLE !!! ps... love my products of the ARCONA Eye Dew +plus and the ARCONA Wine Oil.

I had my nails, hair, and makeup done at M.C Hair for my wedding, and I was extremely happy with the quality of service I received not only during all of the appointments, but from the start when the wedding coordinator, Kristie went above and beyond to coordinate all of the details amidst a packed salon schedule. Beth spent two hours doing my manicure and pedicure, and was so sweet to talk and laugh with the entire time! Molly is an incredible artist that knew exactly how to bring the style I wanted to fruition for both my hair and makeup. In addition to Kristie, Beth, and Molly, all of the staff at both salons were so courteous and made my family and I feel so welcome. THANK YOU!

Love this place! The atmosphere is wonderful and they have so many experienced stylists. Ive been going here for over a year now, year and a half and Ive never once had a bad experience. I always get what I ask for. My stylist is Lindsay and she always does a great job. I was in a pinch for a cut and went somewhere else a few weeks ago and the stylist gave me weird layers I didnt ask for that are about 2 inches shorter than the rest of my hair..which sucks but my MC stylist was able to reverse some of the damage that was done. Thank god. I can just never go anywhere else. I would highly recommend Lindsay and MC Hair Studio.

I went in September to get my hair cut and colored - it was reasonable ($80) then I went back in December for a partial color and no cut and was charged $110. When I told the receptionist that I only had my hair colored, and then asked why the bill was so much, she said the cut is complimentary. The stylist never told me. I called when I got home to inquire about the price change and to let them know I was unhappy and would not be returning. The receptionist let me know a manager would call me back - no one ever called me back. I will not be returning to MC Hair for anything again! -Alexis

Always a wonderful experience at MC! Right from the start the receptionist greets you and offers you a glass of tea, coffee, or water and then within 5 minutes my stylist is there! Very professional, friendly service, top line products used during service and available for purchase after, also a great variety of books, jewelry, and makeup in the retail area. I also really like that they host different events through the year and are always involved with local charities and businesses to benefit the community. Truly wonderful salon!
