Can I just say that I had the worse customer service experience. I normally shop at Ulta on a weekly basis I love make up. Normally they send out coupons by either email or in store ad. Today I went in store because I needed a few things so I grabbed them waited in line for at least 10-15 minutes. Then I go to checkout and as she tells me my total I told her that I had been emailed a special coupon for 3.50 off of 10 while this week on there ad they had the 20% percent on an item. And plus I had a coupon for a free sample its a 10 which is the greatest stuff ever. But when I show her the coupons she tells me that they do not have the item they have been sold out for three weeks but yet I got the coupon yesterday so did many other people and she told me it was while quantities last I guess three weeks ago was yesterday? When we go on to the next coupon she explains to me that the coupon is not valid but yet it clearly stated that it was good and valid till the 29th of this month. She said " You can use the 20% coupon" I told her thats not worth it and she explained to me that it was more than the 3.50 but yet you could clearly see that it was 1.00 that came off. So I left. I go to the other Ulta which is much better which in the River City Market Place. First thing I did when I walked in there was ask if they had any of the free samples and they said yess. And asked if the coupon was valid and they said yes. So the question is why did the one in the town center not accept my coupon and was so rude. I love the town center and I love Ulta but I definitely will not be going back to the Ulta in the town center for that I will go to Sephora which is much better.

I like the selection of makeup and hair products. However the staff is almost always rude. Just yesterday I was ignored when I walked up to the counter to purchase my items. This was AFTER Id waited for them to finish up the previous customers transaction amd stepped up to the counter and laid my items on the counter. By "them" I am refering to two women standing at one register. They were socializing, not trainijg or discussing work. And they clearly saw me waiting across the counter and chose to carry on a non work related conversation while I stood there. When l realized it would keep going indefinitely, I cleared my throat! Ha! That got their attention and the cashier said "Oh, Im sorry, are you ready to check out?" Anyone thats been to an Ulta knows that when youre in line waiting and then approach the ONLY cashier, yeah I was freakin ready. My items were on the somewhat narrow counter in front of her! Poor excuse of an apology. I dont expect much when I shop at Walmart for example, but when youre paying good money for quality products, you should get quality or at least decent service. This was my 3rd negative visit out of 4. The employees have never been knowledgeable enough to be of much help. One woman made me over Once and it was AWFUL! I avoid this location at all costs. Ive also had problems with ordering online from Ulta as well. If you can, Id recommend shopping at the Ulta located in the River City Marketplace. They provide slightly better customer service.

Although the cosmetic staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, I went to "The Salon" at Ulta and had the WORST salon experience of my life, no exaggeration whatsoever. I wont name the woman in particular, but she was indeed female. I went to get my hair colored because obviously since I am not cosmetologist and wanted it to look perfect, I wanted it to be colored professionally. Granted that hair coloring is not an exact science, I expect the cosmetologist to be much more professional about it than what I experienced. After my roots turned out to look one color and the rest of my hair a completely different color, she tried to convince me that it looked okay and when I didnt believe her and wanted it redone, she tried to blame me for her mistake, then wants me to pay extra for the mistakes that she made in the first place. After telling me that she didnt know what to do, I had to instruct her how to fix it! Reluctantly she did. I was there a total of 4 hours... 2.5 hours longer than it shouldve been. So long story short- DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY GETTING YOUR HAIR DONE HERE. This place is much too expensive for the amateur stylists that they employ. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning.

Ive been a customer of Ulta for many years. This was my second time going to this Ulta, and like the first I was very disappointed. I understand, working in retail in the past, that stores sometimes run out of items before they can restock. However I felt that almost every item I wanted to purchase was out of stock. This visit and the first visit I walked out wanting to purchase multiple items, but unable to because they were out of stock. Literally almost everything I picked up I was yet again disappointed. The staff was very stuck up, and i felt like I was being followed around the store like a criminal. I know they want to be "helpful" and do their job, but the store is only so big. Chances are if youre asking me if I need help, there were 5 people before you that have asked and were denied. Again, i know thats what they get paid to do, but maybe if they were a little more friendly and didnt treat their customers like "low class citizens" then the staffs badgering and stalking wouldnt be so unbearable. Will definitely not be back to this location. Will stick to sephora, and possibly another ulta location in Jacksonville.

I had a very bad experience here today. I went in looking for a concealer and was approached by an employee who offered to show me some options. She sat me down and asked what I wanted to conceal and I told her, she proceeded to remove my makeup and then kept saying "wow youre really red..WOW youre REALLY red". Right now, I only have a couple of break outs, so she was just referring to my skin tone, which I took great offense to her mocking me over and over with a shocked expression on her face. Im pale and have pink undertones but that is no way to treat a customer. Plus she was VERY pushy. Im a young (20 year old) girl who looks way younger, and she was pushing me so hard to buy a Lancôme concealer which is directed towards older women anyways. She clearly doesnt have customer service skills and basic people skills to be able to read the customer. She caked WAY too much concealer onto my face and left me looking orange and gooey. Immediately washed my face when I got home. I DO NOT recommend this ulta to anyone.

Usually, we have a pretty good experience when were there but today was unsatisfying to say the least. First off, no one greeted my mother or myself when we walked into this store. There wasnt a single sales associate that asked us if we needed help. And after finally scrounging around for what I needed, we went to the register to check out. I had a 20% off coupon that I intended on using. Unfortunately, my phone died as soon as I tried pulling up the coupon to show the cashier. When I asked if there was anyway to honor the coupon, the cashier decided/ insisted he just couldnt do that because the coupons are so different. It was at that moment, I just said I wouldnt be buying anything... We all know that Ulta has coupon codes and he could have scanned one of them or asked a manager to assist me. Really, Im just annoyed that he was so dismissive and seemed like he just wanted to hurry up and close the store.
