This place is great, and I almost didnt go there when I read the review about the guy almost getting in a fight with the owner. If you have any concerns about that review I found my experience to be more inline with the rest of the peoples experience. We are from Columbus but were visiting friend when our brakes started making a scrapping sounds at the end of our trip. Being that it was night by then we had to wait til morning. Since we needed to be able to go back home on Sunday I woke up early to look for a place to get the car fixed Saturday morning and went online since I did not want to wake our host for recommendations. I saw this place was within walking distance and after considering the reviews drove the car up there. When I got in there I was welcomed by the owner and directed to coffee and water. The owner was talking to everyone while helping one client decide what needed to get fixed and what could wait for a later time to meet her budget. After my car was looked at he told me what was wrong and the cost. Obviously I told him to fix it and asked him to call me when it was done so I could spend time with our friends. He actually offered to have someone drive me back to my friends house several times as well. As we concluded the repair discussion I actually noticed he had a business card holder of local businesses and had the card of a local pizza shop owned by a relative of the friends we were staying with. Asking if he knew the family he immediately started listing off the whole family and saying the last time they were in and what was fixed. It was pretty impressive. In the end it was a great experience and will not hesitate to go back there if anything needs repaired while in town again.

Theyve taken care of our cars for years. Everyone is courteous, and they do great work with a reasonable turn around time. If they need my car for more than a day, theyve always let me know asap. In addition to accurate as possible estimates for cost of repair. Its a great place for everyday car maintenance too. I even stop in with my Moms car for oil changes. He charges the same as the national chain quickie oil places. They get it done just as fast using equal or better quality products. Watch for specials on the maintenance package that includes a transmission and radiator flush. Its a great deal if you have a high mileage car that needs some love to keep it rolling. Having a porter available to give me a lift home has also been helpful, and very convenient. All of these factors make it really easy to support a locally owned business by taking your car here.

Ive had Dan look at my car, and my girlfriends car. Hes always given us a fair price. There has been situations where hes looked at my car, quoted me a price, and found out there were other issues, but he works with you, and he really goes out of his way for his customers. Going to any other mechanic, you might think if this were to happen to you, it would be an act, but Dan is different he even shows you what he did because he really cares about his customers. Dan is not only a great mechanic but he is extremely honest. Theres a reason why this guy has been in business 28+ years. Ill never go to another mechanic, this guy has got my business for life. I just hope that if he were to happen to leave his business it would stay the same. Best mechanic in the area.

So my wife got an oil change here for $33 after taxes, solid deal. So she sends me here to get an oil change for my car, I have a hybrid so I do synthetic. My bill was $88, that is a ridiculous price and over double what a normal one costs. When my wife called to ask why it was so expensive, the owner said you do not pay for oil and filter with a normal oil change. So then why was I charged for a normal oil change and then extra for synthetic oil and the more expensive filter. Her bill showed 29.99 for labor and change. I was charged the SAME 29.99 plus $50 in additional parts for synthetic. I have NEVER in my life paid that much at even a dealership for an oil change, this place is a COMPLETE RIP OFF and I will never go back or recommend them to anyone.

Worst place to take your car ever ! If you see the owner Dan Malick, Look out, he is known for his flying coffee pots & welding exhaust pipes to tow hooks on any car !!! Total butt head !!! You need to ask him how his kids college was paid for, Ill tell you.. Cheating all his employees out their wages thats how !!! The bottom line is, Dan Malick is no different than private parts grabbing Donald Trump !!! Dan Malick likes grabbing males butts, just ask his employees !!! Stay clear unless you like these type of criminals !!!

Danny and the boys are always helpful and get the job done fast. If there is a problem after i leave i can call and they fix the problem fast. I take my car in for oil changes too. In and out in no time. Danny is very friendly- so is his whole family. While you are waiting for car repairs to be complete Danny makes you feel like one of the family. Thank you Rapid Auto for all your help. My car runs great!!!!!

Couldnt give me any kind of estimate about the price or time for a relatively simple repair, and the person at the counter messed around on his phone for awhile before greeting me, only to be "busy on a phone call" a few minutes later while he chatted with a friend who just walked in. Got some really bad vibes....took my business elsewhere.

A little pricey but quick service and good ownership. Also they get an extra star for their political posts on the sign outside. Republicans tend to be more honest, hardworking, and intelligent in my experience. Also the lady that says they are bigots is the true bigot.
