Fantastic, honest, and reliable shop! About 3 weeks ago, I had a blowout while out of state in PA- the shop I went to did not check the rim (even though I asked them to several times). They put on a new tire and drove home to Ohio, and sure enough, a few weeks later, the tire was going flat again. I took the car to Midas, under the care of the wonderful Mike. They easily diagnosed the problem: the rim of the wheel was dented, and had worn against the new tire, causing a long, thin cut on the tire. I asked if I could have dented the wheel after getting the new tire, and they said that if I had, the tire would have blown out. I called the store in PA, and was treated to a round of accusations. According to them, I had somehow dented the wheel rim without destroying the tire. I had somehow not taken care of my car prior to bringing it to them because the tire was smoking when I arrived (it was smoking when it blew out, though!). I handed the phone to the manager in Midas. I am not sure what my Mike said to the man on the other end, but eventually, after a good 15 minutes of arguing, the PA store paid for the $35 repair to the wheel and the tire. Even when they agreed to pay, they blamed me for being careless, for trying to cheat them, and for generally being irresponsible with my car. The Midas employees were extremely supportive. Not only did they speak on my behalf, they did not put up with any of the other stores attempts to place blame on me. They pushed for the other store to cover the repairs, and accepted the payment without question. It was a very positive, affirming experience. The staff at Midas listened to me, they clearly cared about my situation, and they worked quickly and efficiently to help me. I absolutely recommend this store!

I went into this Midas just to get an oil change, and they did their routine safety check. Jason told me that I needed a million different things fixed on my car. I needed 4 new tires, a spark plug tune up package, an air filter (for $111 dollars!!!), and apparently both my lower control arms and ball joints were so bad that I shouldnt be driving on the highway or going over 40mph. Funny that theres other reviews saying the same thing about the control arms and air filters... An air filter is about $15 and takes 5 minutes to replace. Not worth $111. THEN the day afterwards I got a message saying that I had low coolant. That was weird because I had just had my coolant reservoir replaced a couple months prior and its been fine ever since. I filled it up anyways and continued with my day. Then when I was driving the low coolant message showed up again. I checked my coolant level and it was still full. Weird. Once it cooled down I checked the reservoir and a piece of it was missing... A piece that had to be physically removed by a person who went into tee reservoir. Now Im not going to make any accusations, but they are the only people who had been under my hood, so Im not sure where else it could have gone. I called to make a complaint and they said they apparently "dont go into coolant reservoirs" unless they have a reason to, but he would check the cameras and call me back. I have yet to receive a call back. I will never go back to this midas.

Love this place, love these guys. I just moved to the area and knew nothing about this Midas, but I needed an oil change pretty bad since I just recently drove my car in from CA and this location is close to where I now live. I brought it in about an hour before closing. I knew something was up with my alignment and/or tires, but not what, so I mentioned it to Jason. Jason and David were quick and efficient, found the problems, and made plans to get the car serviced the next day, even though it was a huge job with parts they didnt readily have, because it wasnt safe to drive on. Dropped my car off in the morning, Adam found me some awesome and affordable tires, and the guys made my car fun to drive again. Now it handles like a dream. Im always wary when I get an oil change, because Ive had too many mechanics or technicians try to take advantage of my lack of car knowledge. Jason was honest, didnt try to pressure me into anything, and was very down to earth. He took me out and showed me on my car what was wrong with it and explained how it was supposed to look/function. I wasnt even recommended what most service techs tell me my car is in dire need of! These guys earned my trust, did an excellent job, and worked with me to not break the bank on what could have been an extremely costly repair. Ill definitely be coming back here.

I have been using their oil change services for a while and had good deals for it. However, if you want to do any repair, stay away from them! I had a small noise coming from under the hood and they told me it is from the alternator and it needs to be changed. They also told me that the water pump is leaking and needs to be changed to (unrelated to the aforementioned noise). I asked them to change only the alternator, since I wanted to get rid of the noise first. A day after doing that, I experienced a noise 10 times worst than I had before. They refuse to take any responsibility. These guys are either very dishonest or dont know what they are doing. Also, I realized afterward that they are not using the original manufacturer parts, as they claimed to justify their higher parts prices. For my case, they charged me ~$400 for an alternator which I could buy for ~$150 from the advanced Autoparts (The exact same brand and model!) Overall, go to the car dealer, if you are willing to pay more money for original parts or just go to your local mechanic. I wish I knew this before being scammed by these people.

I felt that Jason tried to pull a fast one on me because Im a woman (and therefore, must know nothing about car repairs). While my car was at Midas for routine maintenance, he told me I needed my air filter changed. He tried to justify the price of the filter change by explaining the process as being this hard, tedious task that required the techs to completely take apart the dashboard. Good thing I know better! I told him no and that Id change the filter myself because it literally takes 2 minutes (tops!) and is not difficult by any means. This conversation left a very bad taste in my mouth. I feel like he thought he could make a quick extra $50 off of me because he assumed I was ignorant about cars. I dont trust these people. When I saw the Google reviews on here, I was relieved to think that a truly honest repair shop was in my area. Jason seemed super nice when I spoke to him on the phone and dropped my car off. This place turned out to be a complete let-down. Looks like Ill be going back to Integrity Auto in Stow, even if it means driving an extra 15 minutes down the road. Bummer.
