I started using Emergency Plumbing Service about a year ago. It was an emergency and they lived up to their name. It also didnt hurt that they were voted number one plumber in Delaware which was a confidence booster for me. For my first plumbing need I had a odd situation and they had me send pictures to their email and we were able to consult on the phone the best way to handle the problem. Their professionalism and courtesy were a breath of fresh air. Because of this experience I started using them for my business. As in any restaurant, a plumbing issue is usually an EMERGENCY. Ive used them about 5 times and they always come out promptly and have all the parts needed for the problem. Their staff is knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend Emergency Plumbing Service for both home and business.

Isnt it always? An emergency, I mean? Mine was a sump pump failure in the midst of above average rainfall—with more in the forecast. I knew mine wasnt the only flooded basement and that cleanup couldnt start until my sump pump was replaced. And it already smelled. Emergency Plumbing said theyd get someone over immediately. They were really busy but—thank goodness—adequately staffed to keep their word.The price was reasonable (actually less than I expected), and John and Bryan were helpful in laying out what my next steps should be. Emergency Plumbing will definitely be my first phone call next time I have a plumbing issue and my first recommendation to others looking for a reputable plumbing company.

Ive had the need to call Emergency Plumbing twice in the last year. I had a failed sump pump in the spring and it was a real emergency, as there was already a little water in the basement when I called. Realizing the severity of the problem, they sent out a plumber almost immediately. He was courteous, clean and professional. He had the new sump pump in in a short time and was on his way. To top it all off, the bill was lower than expected. Later in the year I did a bathroom rehab and wanted to make sure a professional handled all of the hook-ups. Once again, Emergency was timely and professional, as well as very reasonable. In short, great service, quality work, great people and reasonable priced.

Professional, friendly, and honest from start to finish. The plumber they sent to fix a pinhole leak in a copper pipe in my basement even took time to answer some general maintenance questions I had about my water heater, and had my leak repaired in under an hour, and for at the low end of what the national average for that service is. 2 days later, their office called me to inform me that I had accidentally been double-charged for soldering the new pipe in, and that a refund check was already in the mail. I wouldnt have noticed or questioned anything because the price was reasonable to begin with, so the honesty is extremely appreciated. These folks will take great care of you.

If there was an option I might give a half star. The fact is though they were average at best. Its annoying enough when I have to sit around my house for a three hour window waiting but to be called 2/3 through that window and be told that window went from 10-1 to 1-4 is unacceptable. The tech shows up then sits in my drive for however long before finally coming to the door. Yes the repair was made and in a timely manner but there was not even an apology for being late and there was no compensation for being late. I realize in this field some jobs/repairs take longer than others. Thats why there is three blocks so to be two hours late is not acceptable.

First time ever needed a plumber. 6p - not horribly late - had water running through ceiling. I was told it was the toilet flange. $325.00 later, - the next day it leaked again - worse ! Called another company and they came and fixed the sink, yes sink- nothing wrong with toilet! Spoke to ED Plumbings owner next day - no sympathy - said I felt it was mis diagnosed (tech had to make a few phone calls from van) and I should be entitled to a partial refund. Nothing- Got a phone call from office manager Jessica last week - shared my same concerns - no follow up! I value keeping our business local - but will not recommend this company.

I had always heard from others that Emergency Plumbing Service was great, but until I had my own emergency situation, I didnt realize how great they really are! They came out immediately and corrected the problem. The technician was very knowledgeable and took the time to show my husband how avoid further and more costly expenses. They were honest, the pricing was fair and the service was outstanding. Being a business owner myself, I understand and appreciate what it means to provide quality service. This is the best plumbing company in Delaware. They have helped us with two separate problems in the past few months and have done a great job. The technicians that come to your house are professional and do everything they can to help you. I am the type of person who needs to know every step of the process and they are more than willing to explain what they are doing and why. This a family owned business and you can tell. Their prices are extremely fair and they are genuinely out there to help you. Dont call anyone else, this is company to use!

It was Sunday night and we were in an absolute state of panic. Our basement main sewer had backed up and was oozing water and raw sewage onto the basement floor. I called Emergency Plumbing and there were here within 1/2 hour. They cleaned out our sewer main and it wasnt an easy job. They were fast,efficient and very reasonably priced for Sunday night. To put it in simple terms: They saved the day for us and we are most grateful. Would recommend them in a heartbeat!!

You cant get better service than what I experienced. I called on Friday. They had someone (Chris) out Monday morning at 1030am. He was done in less than an hour, but took the time to educate me on what he was doing and how I could prevent future issues. Chris was courteous and professional from his notification call until he left. I recommend calling for simple needs that can wait or true emergencies.

I have used EPS on numerous occasions and they never disappoint. From true emergencies ( pipes frozen and burst in a 7,000 sq. ft. home ) where it took them only an hour to hit the jobsite, to what Im sure was a mundane repair on a sink and toilet, they treat everything the same: courteous, professional and affordable service. You wont find a better plumbing outfit in the Tri County area.Period!

Shower faucet was leaking, knew the cartridge needed replaced. Tried to fix it myself but couldnt get ring off that was holding in the cartridge. Called Emergency they came out a couple days later fixed the shower faucet and replaced, cartridge, handle, faucet and and a bent pipe which bent trying to take out cartridge. They do things right, thanks Emergency.
