I moved my daughter to the Hudson location of the Goddard School when I was pregnant with my second child. She was two and a half at the time and had attended another Goddard location since she was 14 weeks old. While the structure of the program and the physical layout of the building were similar I quickly noticed how different the Hudson location was. The quality of the teachers is outstanding and there wasnt the turnover issue I saw at the other location. I was also impressed with the quality and condition of all the toys and books my daughter was given to play with. The Hudson location continually replaces existing toys and books and introduces new items on a regular basis. They also keep the facility in excellent condition and I can see that they re-invest my tuition dollars back into the school, which was something that did not happen at the first Goddard we attended. This high standard also applies to the education they provide as well. My daughter started public kindergarten this fall and has told me that she already knows what they are working on in school, which just proves to me how prepared she was as a result of the Goddard pre-school/pre-k program. My son is currently enrolled in the Hudson pre-school program and I am confident he will be equally prepared when he starts kindergarten in two years. While no daycare or pre-school is going to be perfect, Im convinced that the Goddard Hudson location is as close as you can get.

The school has really gone down hill. The director is very dismissive to any parent complaints especially with staff. The owner is dismissive to complaints that the director is not doing her job. Theres often yelling at children from several teachers in the preschool with young children crying and acting out due to the high stress environment. Tactics and teaching practices can be cruel, like putting shoes on wrong feet and forcing kids to walk around like that during the day. They sell you a daycare program that "is always open" when you tour and once you are locked in You are surprised with weeks of additional closures throughout the year forcing working parents who pay a ridiculous monthly tuition fee already to take off work because they are not open. Its often dirty In the classrooms with urine on the toilets and floors and teachers come to school with runny noses and coughs contributing to the illness cycle in the classrooms. It was not worth the money, The constant closure days and the rude and inexperienced teachers and dismissive staff. We are right down the road at a wonderful preschool/daycare where the teachers and staff are lovely and the school is only closed for major holidays. I would discourage anyone needing daycare to find somewhere else for your kids. There is much better out there right around every corner.

My daughter attends pre-k at Goddard School in Hudson part time and I cannot express how incredible her experience has been. She has learned so much this past year and is more than ready for kindergarten--I owe this to her teachers! She also absolutely loves this school. I was worried because we moved her in the fall and the majority of her class had been together since they were babies. She had no problem with the transition whatsoever. Everyone is very friendly and shes made a lot of really great friends this year. My eighteen month old son also attends part time and while hes a bit of a challenge for me at home, I am told he is a laid back joy at school! Im glad he loves school as much as his sister and Im looking forward to him growing up with Goddard. Nancy and Jeff are extremely flexible with me, which was important because my job is unpredictable. Ive been allowed to add days when necessary or add full days in a pinch. Just the fact that they allow part-time care for babies was huge! I highly recommend this school, especially for pre-k--its like a little pre-kindergarten boot camp with the perfect balance of education and fun. LOVE.

Both my daughters went here from the time they were three! I have seen this school almost from inception. To be honest, I was concerned when I started sending my second one, assuming that they wouldnt be as enthusiastic about providing quality care as they were when my older one went there given the fact that they were an established business. But honestly, they have remained the same since the day they started. The warm greeting of the staff when you go to drop or pick up your child, taking care of your kids with utmost love and affection, a wonderful curriculum, respecting your childs want of space, etc. My little one is a very shy kid not prone to talk outside home. The teachers have never made her feel like she wasnt welcome in any of the class activities. She talks so affectionately of all her teachers there! I have to thank Jeff and Nancy for the amazing work they are doing and a big thank you to all the teachers who have given so much love, affection and care to both my daughters, especially the little one, who was always made to feel like she wasnt any different just because she wouldnt speak in class. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

We love our school! I am a mother of three; two of my own and one step son. We have experiences with three different centers in the area. My step-son attended Twinsburg, Goddard from 2 months to graduation (awesome pre-school as well!). After deciding to go back to work full time, we enrolled our other two in a different nearby center due to Twinsburg being a bit too far and Hudson full at the time. I could go on and on with a list of comparisons between schools, but the bottom line is, The Goddard School offers a much better overall program. This is not a daycare. This is an early childhood education program you and your child will love. The the staff is friendly and educated. We are greeted everyday with smiling faces and a positive attitude. The daily reports are personalized for your child. I love how my children are so eager to go to school every morning and hearing from them all the new things they learn every day. I do now and will continue to reccomend this school to anyone looking for a wonderful pre-school experience.

Weve been sending our kids to Goddard in Hudson for two years now. They attend full-time five days a week and weve been so pleased with every facet of this school. I think the great management team has a large part to do with the success of this school. The flexibility, customer service, and welcoming spirit of the management team makes this an easy school for busy parents to partner with. They are very supportive of their staff of teachers who are incredibly nurturing with our kids and creative with their daily activities. There is a very low turnover rate with this staff, which is typically hard to find within the demands of the daycare industry but again it speaks volumes of the teamwork and support provided to the staff members. My kids are thrilled to go to school each day and their teachers have helped my kids conquer everything from potty-training and shoe-tying to science experiments and sight words. My oldest is well-prepared to enter kindergarten and the social skills and manners theyve learned make us proud parents.
