I am writing as one who also serves the public. I own a business called "A Glowing Memory" and had a package delivered overnight to Kline Kilburn Funeral Home to be presented at a service on Friday Nov.6 for one of my customers. IT NEVER HAPPENED AND THE GIFT IS IS STILL ON KATHYS DESK TODAY!. Mind you that she personally received a call the day two days before it arrived at the funeral home letting her know it was coming. I can understand an HONEST mistake, however it is not the case here. Kathy Kline the funeral director offered several excuses as to why her services were lacking. First she said she opened the package and never saw the huge envelope of instructions that were attached to the box and clearly posted. Then she said someone else opened it even though it was personally addressed to her and never saw the box, (I called her on that !!!), and THEN she told me that THIS KIND OF THING HAPPENS OFTEN!!!!! THIS KIND OF THING ! OFTEN!!! When I told her that these issues should have been addressed long ago and I didnt want to hear excuses, Kathy Kline the Funeral Director hung up on me! Customer service is seriously lacking at this Funeral Home. More attention to detail is needed. BEWARE and should you be forced to deal with this Funeral Home, follow up yourself, because they dont.

One of my best friends lost her father way to soon in life and somewhat unexpected. Upon picking up her fathers ashes from this funeral home, she noticed they were all in one bag. Her original request was that the ashes be seperated into 4 bags. No big deal, just a simple mistake, right? She asked them to correct the mistake. They took the ashes back and brought them back out in 2 seperate boxes because they couldnt all fit in one. When she got into the car, she opened the boxes and found the ashes seperated into 4 ZIPLOC PLASTIC BAGS WITH PINK SNOWFLAKES ON THEM. Obviously infuriated, she walked back inside and someone greeted her with "whats wrong now?" To top the cake, his metal tag with his information on it was buried in one of the bags with the ashes and had to be fished out by a family member. I will NEVER use this place again and will make sure to let the entire community know how she has been treated in such a delicate time of her life.

My family used to do business with another funeral parlor in town until 2012 when they treated us like a used car lot. We went to Stine Kilburn and are very glad we did.
