Renee made our familys experience to honor our dad as easy as it could be. She is a friendly, understanding and compassionate advocate of the funeral industry. I couldnt have had a better guide to help me get through the days prior to and the day of our Dads visitation. Her assistant, McKala, is the representative of SouthCare who stayed with me the entire time throughout the 2 hour visitation. She made sure I had everything I needed. She reminded me of items that I would have forgotten, and she stayed after the prearranged time to make sure all of our guests met their transportation needs. The best part of the Alpharetta SouthCare location is its uniqueness as it caters to only one family at a time. There were no other mourners wandering through our Dads visitation. It was a joyous celebration of our Dads life with our own family and friends. My family is widespread throughout the Atlanta area. The Alpharetta location is close to Hwy 400, so access was easy. There are many hotels and restaurants nearby that can cater to out of town guests. I would not hesitate to recommend the Alpharetta location to anyone. Renee and McKala made it a memorable experience. Mary Cerny

The simplicity and care from Courtney when we walked in on a Sunday afternoon, not even knowing they normally arent there on Sundays (unless pending arrangements) was a blessing. We knew we were in caring hands, sensitive to our needs, even though we did not know what our needs were. Since loosing a son theres know way we could have known or prepared. It was a gentle and peaceful process at SouthCare. The week was full of a lot of unexpected planning and each time we called they were there to help us with our plans and changes and to do the very difficult arrangements. The night of the visitation was know exception. Courtney and Darren were there, helping the many family and friends if needed. My family from all corners of the country were made to feel comfortable and not stressed. Like being invited into a friends home. I feel like I made a new and very kind and caring friend. Thanks for being there for us. Even though we didnt know for sure where we were going that Sunday morning, after hearing of our sons death the previous night, I know the Lord led us to you. After my sisters husband passed away unexpectedly, I was asked to find a place and make the arrangements for his cremation. After speaking with several different places, I decided on SouthCare as it was not only conveniently located but also one of the best priced. I was a bit concerned because they were so much lower in price than others , but I decided to go with them. DEFINITELY the right decision!!! My sister and I could not have been more pleased with their level of service and care. Renee went out of her way to accommodate us and even though we had received incorrect information over the phone, she made right on all that we were promised. She was caring and compassionate and most importantly, she was sincere. In a difficult time, Renee made things easier and more comfortable for my sister. I highly recommend SouthCare for their customer concern and care!

Courtney at SouthCare in Alpharetta did a wonderful job of helping us through the difficult process of planning my mothers memorial service. She went through all of our options and did not try to "upsell" us. One of the best things about this facility is that you have the entire facility to yourselves. We had the chapel, visitation room, foyer and kitchen for our guests to use. They provided light catering for a very reasonable price - much less than other places I had checked into. They allowed us to borrow an urn for the memorial since the urn we had purchased was an urn vault for burial which is not very pretty - other places want you to buy one. Most of all, Courtney was so kind and empathic throughout the process - like she was a part of our family. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a funeral or memorial.

I recently had to make arrangements for my late husband to be cremated. The people I spoke to were so helpful and patient. They made a difficult time in my life manageable. I had need to call them a number of times and they were always kind and helpful. When I needed to have the Ashes divided into two boxes to permit taking some of the Ashes to the Cemetary and also some ashes placed in an Urn for the Memorial service, They said it was not a problem. I went to their building to choose an Urn and also a small Cross on a chain for Ashes for me. It was all beautifully prepared for me to pickup. I highly recommend SouthCare for use at the time of need. It was an excellent experience.

Rene, Ursula and the entire team at SouthCare professionally and thoroughly eased the emotionally difficult process of arranging and delivering my wifes memorial service. They presented various options available, including a balanced discussion of budgeting costs. I received many compliments from my guests on SouthCares presentation. My wife and I first became aware of SouthCare several years prior, after investigating options available to prepay our cremation costs and alleviate those particular worries ahead of time. It was a good good decision, and I recommend SouthCares duel approach to all. Jerry Moore

The loss of my father was devastating, but Darren at SouthCare was extremely understanding and patient; his concern for our feelings was genuine as he guided us through the process. I was especially impressed that he was able to expedite my fathers cremation so that his Catholic service would be a true Mass and not just a memorial service. This was especially important in keeping with my fathers final wishes, and Darren assured me that they would have no problem in seeing to this final detail. I appreciate everyone at the Alpharetta facility, both for their attention to detail and for their quality service.

The SouthCare staff made everything as easy as possible during the most difficult time in our lives - making plans for the service to honor our 23 year old daughter. They gently urged us along with the critical details and were extremely sensitive to our emotions and difficulty making decisions. Darren was warm, professional and available after hours. Courtney had the utmost patience with us as my wife wanted to handle the makeup on our daughter but found it to be overwhelming. We highly recommend SouthCare. Bill and Stevie Strange

Renee Gazaway, the Director of SouthCare Cremation & Funeral Society (Alpharetta) was wonderfully gentle, informative and a person that we trusted with our father after his passing. To entrust anyone with your loved one is not an easy task....but Renee made our experience a beautiful one. Renees assistant at SouthCare is amazing wonderful as well. Her name is Ursula Thompson. She was kind, gentle and loving. I am so thankful that Hospice Atlanta recommended SouthCare to us! Randi

I had a really positive experience working with Southcare Cremation & Funeral Society. They did an incredible job with my loved ones cremation and made the process smooth & prices reasonable. Darren Brown, the Funeral Director, also went above and beyond to assist me in creating a necklace of my loved ones ashes as well. Its a keepsake I will never forget and a funeral society, I will never forget and always recommend. This is the best place for cremation and funerals
