The owners of this franchise are the most dishonest scam artist out there. Its 2015 and women like me are still being grossly mistreated by men who play one our trusting and unquestioning ethics. After having my car for nearly 2 whole months the franchise owner (Gary) admitted to me the numerous complaints on the Manager Joe Howard and complained to me personally (Which my lawyer has the audio recording I made) of his past and present business failings. Hence why his name was not allowed on any company documents. Even other local shop owners openly told me of their well-known financial and management problems. They improperly installed a rebuilt transmission, broke a motor mount (the only thing they made right) a door handle, hood latch and windshield wiper fluid dispenser. My car is worse than when I trusted them to fix it. They lied to Visa when I disputed the charge after giving them weeks to make it right. Its been 3 months now and still no attempts by them to make it right. Needless to say this grandmother learned an extremely expensive and stressful lesson. Dont make the same mistake I did and get everything in writing and stay away from this place.

I have never had a worse experience in my life! Our 04 automatic was not shifting, so we took it in to have it looked at. Aamco diagnosed the problem as a bad transmission, and charged us 2300 to fix it. Took three days to do the job, and when we got it back the car refused to shift and the check engine light came on immediately. We took it back for the second time, and aamco reset the cars computer. Again, we drove the car and it refused to shift. We returned it for the third time, and aamco kept he car for 5 whole days before they could even diagnose the correct problem - the cars computer was bad. it took two more days to fix it. They then tried to charge us another 1200 for the part and labor. We requested them to rent us a car over the 7 days it took to fix the computer, and when we tried to return the rental car, they refused to pay for it! Over 2 weeks, 3 visits, an incorrect diagnostic, and $3500+ (equivalent to what we paid for the car) to get this simple fix corrected. They treated us as if we were asking the world from them. NEVER go here.

We have had 2 bad experiences here!! A year ago we spent $1000 between 2 cars to get the brakes fixed. My husband noticed a loud noise in his car....when he took it back, they said Oops, we did not tighten a rotor. About a month ago we took my van in and spent $600 for spark plugs and wires. A week later my engine light came on..We took it in to another dealer because they were open much later and we needed our van!!! They ran diagnostic and said...It was just a loose spark plug. We had to pay $80 for that. AAMCOs reply was we would have fixed that for free. I complaind to the BBB and AAMCO so far has just ignored them. They lost a good paying customer!!! Dont make the mistake I did!!! Take your car elsewhere!!!

I was having a problem with my ford windstar sometimes not wanting to shift. I took it in to my mechanic and he told me that I had a transmission problem and he could not fix it. I found the Aamco in Miamisburg online and decided to have them check my van out. After they were done with checking is out I was informed that the cause of my transmission acting up was a sensor. They had me fixed and back on the road in a matter of minutes. When I was expecting to spend over $2000.00 for my transmission ended up being under $100.00. Thanks for not taking advantage of me. I now go to them for everything.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Unless you want to spend money and have your car come back worse than it was when you took it in there. I took my car in there for a new transmission and I get my car back and is drive it and its making a loud noise so I took it back. They told me it was normal and it would go away. Well I year later it didnt so I took it back and they got a attitude that I was second guessing there work and refused to do anything about it even though it was still under warranty. If you have money to throw away and want to your car coming back worse then this is the place for you.

I wouldnt be surprised if they went out of business soon. Like the shop of the same owner in Lebanon which mysteriously shut down, they really waste a lot of the customers time. Ill have the car ready by Monday means that youll be waiting until Thursday if youre lucky. So take my word for it, tell your friends and family. Dont go to AAMCO.

AAMCO doesnt even exist at this location. Brownies Independent Transmission bought it and cleaned it up and opened a very nice clean shop with friendly people at 128 Alexandersville Rd.
