I would give this company 0 stars if I could. Do not trust them! They are trained to get you to spend as much money as possible, no matter if you need it or not. The first time I went there for an oil change, they scammed me into an $300 worth of work that I did not need. I just went back there today because my brake fluid was very low, and I had a squishy brake pedal. (I never had a squishy brake pedal before I had my truck initially serviced there.) They inspected it, and on the phone, they told me it was likely my master cylinder that needed replaced, but they couldnt actually check it without tearing some stuff down. (This would have been approximately $700 worth of work, they said.) So, after talking with my fiancé, we agreed to just ask them to bleed brakes because I never had this problem before they flushed my brake fluid last year. The guy told me there was no point to flush my brakes because there wasnt ANY air in lines. I decided to take my truck elsewhere for a second opinion, so I asked for a print out of the notes. On this, they actually wrote that it was for sure my master cylinder and brake boost that needed to be replaced. They also wrote that it wasnt safe to drive my truck until I replaced these too items. This was a huge red flag since on the phone they said they couldnt confirm this without inspecting, but on the notes for us they said it was for sure these issues. So we went to the Ford dealership. Here, they FULLY inspected my master cylinder and brake booster and both were absolutely fine. They said I was low on some fluids and needed my brakes bled!! After they finished working on it, they said there was an incredible amount of air in ALL my lines!!! Grismer straight-up lied to me and denied me service when in-fact, this was exactly what my truck needed. AND its likely that they didnt bleed my brake lines properly the first time when I had my fluid flushed there. I will never go back to any Grismer again. Screw them. Dont waste your time or money with this company.

Went for a simple oil change at the Springboro location and received a phone call that my Check Engine Light was on. It was NOT on when I dropped the car off and when I informed the person on the phone as well as the counter person, I was blown off. Actually, the guy who checked me out offered to analyze my light for an additional $89.95. When I got home, I found the lid on my air breather was off, occurring when they were conjuring up the list of $1050 worth of unnecessary repairs, that caused the computer error. A simple fix that Grismer would not even attempt to look into to satisfy this customer. The following things happened that makes this one of the poorest repair experiences I have ever had; 1) The technican lied on the paperwork stating the CEL was on when he got in the car. It was not. 2) The counter personnel were demeaning and rude when I asked them to look into the light being on. 3) Because the technician couldnt even get the air filter lid back on properly, nor see the CEL was on indicating something wasnt put back together right, I question if he did my oil change correctly- or even at all? 4) The list of needed repairs was bogus. Brakes, wires and plugs were changed recently and anyone with maintenance experience could have seen that. Grismer, you can kiss my patronage goodbye. When a customer drops their vehicle to be serviced, they trust their auto into your care. When that vehicle comes back in worse condition than the way it was left, I call that a failure to deliver promised goods.

TLDR: They took a coupon for an oil change, later on I found out they didnt change the oil, just added some to the existing. Details: Went in to redeem one of my free oil changes that I received for buying tires through them. I was going to sell the car the next day, buyer requested I change the oil and rotate the tires. They completed the service in about 45-50 minutes, and I left to drop the car off. I get a call from the buyer to let me know the oil on the dipstick was still black and it didnt appear to be changed so he took it to another place to have them do it. I received pictures of the new oil that had turned black and looked like Guinness. The buyer also told me the filter was very dirty as if it had not been replaced. All they did was add some oil to get me within range on the dipstick, give me a list of things to fix that another service center said it would not need replaced (axle seal, transmission flush which I have pictures of as well), and sent me on my way. They refuse to reimburse the buyer of the car the amount that it cost him to get an oil change and tire rotation. My family and I have been loyal customers for 20 years and its a shame when a business turns their back to doing the right thing and taking care of a customer.

Easily the worst automotive service experience I have ever had. I have gone several times for simple tasks (oil change, alignment, tire rotation) Every time they manage to cause significantly more damage to my vehicle. They have broken brand new brake components and told me they were "worn," and needed to be replaced. They have installed wheel lug nuts cross-threaded with an impact driver so the wheel shuttered and ultimately the studs needed to be removed. The experience was so bad - they gave me four free oil changes when I purchased a set of tires, and I forfeited all of them.

I had an oil change at a competitor where I was told that my brakes were shot and needed to be replaced. I was quoted just over $1000 for new rotors and pads. I then called Grismer to get a price for the same work and was told it would be $700. I scheduled the appointment for the next morning. When dropping the vehicle off, I told Mike to do the rotors and pads but to call me if anything else needed replaced. He did call, but it was to say that the brakes did not need to be replaced at all! Thank you for your honesty and integrity! You have a customer for life!

I went there simply to get a tire repaired. I had a slow leak due to screw embedded in the sidewall and after they explained they couldnt repair this, they wanted to sell me a new tire. Since I was low on cash, I asked if they could just switch tires with the spare. They said sure, for a mere $20. I was okay with that, but it took them 2 hours to do it!! They didnt even touch my car for an hour and a half! I was planning to return to buy a new tire when I got paid, but after this, they definitely lost my business!

Came in with a flat tire and left with new brakes, oil change, transmission fluid. Manager was very friendly and walked me through their complete safety check. They set me up with a Grismer Card and gave me a discount on the oil change. All done within an hour. Free WiFi and coffee while I waited.
