Ive only had this gym membership for about maybe 5 months now. I went to the orientation they had , I thought it was gonna be you come in you take a look around talking about the gym what they offer, what they have etc.. , well I went to the premier fitness in Middletown. The manager there i guess his name is Jeff, .... but this guy i dont know if this dude does steroids or speed or what but this guy was really pushy, he talked way to fast, and he also gets way to close to you while talking to you, I thought this dude was trying to make a move on me because he literally was like an inch away from my face when he would talk to me... but after I sat down and talked to him I wasnt planning on signing up just yet. But after all what has been said he asked me how was it paying? He said "so will this be cash or credit?" I was really shocked because I didnt know what to do and he was talking so fast that I really couldnt even remember what all what was said about everything basically.I didnt want to do but I also didnt want to make a big scene so I went along and paid for it even though it was my fault and Ive only been a couple of times but I want to cancel my gym membership and just stick with planet fitness but I dont really want to talk to the manager Jeff about it because I feel like he would try and bribe me into something else that Im not interested in doing. I dont know what to do. , Ive heard to cancel the gym membership is lIke $200 dollar which is beyond ridiculous. , also the tanning beds there suck. They have them way to close to the gym equipment and there only stand up...

I worked for the company for 4 years, easily the worst job Ive ever had. Members dont pick up their weights, and no one who works for the company enforces the rules. Also, all the reviews listed here about problems with contracts are all true. Salesman are very pushy, tell you that you have a certain amount of time to cancel when you sign up, and then refuse to help you if you choose to do so. The owner and general manager are liars, treat employees like they arent human, and are just bad people in general. I worked for 4 years, received no pay raises, was illegally put on salary (illegal because I was not being paid the minimum amount allowable to be put on a salary basis, to which I am currently seeking legal action), and was "disciplined" by the general manager in front of members, instead of privately in the office. I was asked to come in early and forced to stay later (for no extra money, of course), and was even asked to turn around while on my way home just so my boss could "show me something that needs work." Which was just code for "Im going to take you over to the ladies part of the facility and tell you how much you suck." Tanning bed bulbs are replaced about 6-8 weeks after should be because the Middletown club, as I was told, is "not a priority" because it brings in the least amount of money . Theres a major problem with roaches, and the bathrooms are flooding constantly. I quit about a year ago (May 2012), perhaps its gotten better since then, but if not, please choose their competition instead.

First off, I want to point out to people that most of the 5-star reviews that talk about how wonderful Premier Fitness are undoubtedly fake. Do you notice that the majority of 5-star reviews are posted anonymously by "A Google User" and are all very similar in nature? In fact, the person posting these excellent reviews doesnt even seem to be located anywhere near Ohio. This does not surprise me, because I have dealt with Premier Fitnesss dishonest business practices for a few years now. My warning is to not feel pressured into signing a contract, especially if/when you are bullied. And if you decide that the gym is okay for you, read the fine print. They will conveniently omit important details. Know that your contract will auto-renew for life after your term is up. Know that there is an annual "enhancement" fee. Know that if there is a problem with billing, no one at the gym will help you, and no one at the main office will return your calls. Know that cancelling, even if all the proper steps are followed, will be difficult and stressful. Be prepared to close bank accounts and pursue legal action while money is withdrawn from your account during the process. Please, do your research before joining. BEWARE!!!

I went there for a free 30 day trial and they were extremely pushy. I did sign a contract because they said I could call and cancel the next day. Well, I talked it over with my husband and we decided I shouldnt do it. So I called and they would not cancel my membership. They said I had to come in. I was not happy about that because well they lied. The lady said, "Mam if you have any problems you need to take it up with the manager, which is me" So I said ok, I have a problem and then she hung up on me! So against my will I went in. The heavy set manager came out and was shaking her finger at me and said, "When my trainer gets here(the one that signed me up) the three of us are sitting down and having a meeting because you have to come in to cancel." I said, "okay I want to cancel and I am here" and she refused to cancel my membership insisting that I wait 2 hours for this trainer to come to work. Cant a manager cancel a member. She was probably the RUDEST manager I have ever met!

I absolutely rate the facility in Fairborn, OH a ZERO!!! The manager after they opened lied to my face about my contract. He told me it was a month-to-moth agreement, and I can cancel at anytime. I have recently moved 12 miles away from the facility, and have found out that I can not cancel my 3 YEAR contract. Ive called and called the facility, who now tells me they are under new management and cannot help me, because the person who signed me up is the only one that can do anything about it. When you call the 1-800 number, a buy-out is your only option. Im Fairborn alumni, and worked at the high school, and absolutely got screwed by this company. DO NOT GO THERE!!! Its dirty, the equipment is old as dirt, the tanning beds are never working, and they will take your money out from under you. LA Fitness in Beavercreek is clean, and worth every penny.

The first thing I would like to say is I absolutely love this place. I am a military wife and have a 8 month old son. Ive been wanting to work out for a while but the gym on base doesnt have daycare. I had gotten a call from Premier Ladies Fitness offering me a free 30 day membership. I decided to go and try it out. I felt so welcomed as soon as I got there. All the staff are so nice and helpful. Anytime I need help they are there no matter how busy they are. The daycare is wonderful and I just know they will take good care of my son while I work out. Its nice to have a couple of hours to myself and thats why I really enjoy this gym. I dont get that at home. I reccomend this gym to all women who are like me who love to work out and needed to feel confident in themselves again. I got my confidence back.
