The absolute worst!!!!! I have an after schooler. Whenever Id go to pick her up the kids were running ramped through the building. No one ever knew where she was. Id have to go from room to room to outside to inside to find her. She got bullied on the buss because another child attacked her verbally calling her stupid for whistling. MY CHILD was told to write an apology letter to the other child and then my child was moved. The bully continued to harass my child after getting into the school and she asked a teacher to help her and the teacher blew her off. To top it off I wasnt even notified of this by the facility, my child was the one who had to tell me. The limited access doors are a joke. They let in everyone and anyone. No one checks IDs or to see if the person picking up is authorized. The office door and Windows dont face the main door so whos watching whos coming in? No one. Thats who. If you walk up the door and just say "picking up" they will buz you right in. No questions asked. The director always has her door shut. Ive only ever seen her exit to get her carry out order. Im on the county vouchers and they are constantly screwing those up too. I asked them several times to review my swipes because I knew I missed one. They never did. Then they called me at 3:50 to tell me I had to come up immediately and swipe her for a past day or Ill have to pay full price. The facility is filthy. Because they dont pay attention to the main door Ive seen kids run right out with no parent, adult, anyone. Save yourself and your child. Find another facility.

I filed a police report and contact all major local news stations, I witnessed Child Abuse today in the Pre-K classroom ages 3-5. I was dropping my daughter off and watched the teacher screaming yelling throwing things and slamming the bathroom door while a 3 year old child was trying to use the potty. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT OKAY! CHILD ABUSE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! Aside from that, I had multiple complaints: my child was muddy, barefoot, wet with pee and runny poop with her undwear on running down her leg, my mother picked her up one day it was 45 degrees out, NO JACKETS ON THESE CHILDREN!!!! There are always cases of Lice, Pink Eye and other sicknesses posted on the front door as a warning to parents to check their children. The front door code box never worked, my mothers code didnt work for her private sign in and after the first week they NEVER asked for I.D. NOT SAFE! The food is poor quality (pre-cooked and disgusting). Dirty building. When you call to discuss things with the teachers or the office ladies NOTHING IS AMENDED. Today, I spoke to the lady who runs the school to tell her with tears in my eyes of the abuse I witnessed and she acted as though she had NO IDEA WHO I AM, WHO MY CHILD IS - or - THAT I EVER HAD A COMPLAINT IN THE PAST!!!! THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING!

My experience with north olmsted horizon daycare on david drive was horrible. My kids have been going there for 15 yrs. Towards the end of the 15th yr. Miss Dawn was the new director there for 2015. And she hired new people for the summer. The three people that were hired was a girl and two boys new for the summer. There were not watch carfully, things were happening in their class rooms and no body cares. Example is lots of bulling! Daycare associates not speaking to kids properly. My son got punched in the face in the class room and no action was done against the other child. And daycare provider Stills has his job. Theres no cameras in the classrooms. And miss dawn the director lie on incident report. To cover up the bad behavior that happens there in class rooms. It has changed to the worst over the years :( Even the big boss man in administration didnt care about my situation. And it took days to get a hold of him. Dont put your child in north olmsted horizon. There only 2 good people there now.

My kids have been at horizon for couple of years and I referrer people there all the time because no matter what you are never going to find the "right" daycare for your child; but Horizon educational center has been there for me, and my kids come home telling me how nice the teachers are and how much fun they have spending time with their friends. I would like to add that the have their moments and its nothing out of the norm, but in the end i will keep referring friends and family, because Horizon is a home away from home for me and my family and thats hard to find. Mrs Dawn, Mrs Walla, and Ms Kayla are doing a great job at making Horizon Educational Center a family oriented center. Kudos to you all!!!!

As a parent and employee I cannot say enough great things about Horizon. My kids have attended for nearly six years and as happy as can be. Tutoring after school, homework help, lessons (yes, they do more than just hang out after school), friendships, and fun. Add in a great summer camp schedule every year and its a recipe for success. The staff is caring and communicates often with parents (and not just because Im on the staff) As a parent on the staff, I know how important it is for kids to have a caring environment. We strive to be the best and work hard to maintain our 4star SUTQ rating. High standards are what we at Horizon strive for and have achieved.

My kids have gone to Horizons 5 years now. I am so thankful that they offer things such as tutoring and dance classes. Their summer camp is amazing with a wide variety of field trips, weekly swimming (with swimming lessons if needed), trips to the park and to Malleys for ice cream. the staff has always been amazing and if there was ever an issue with other children or even a teacher it was handled in a manner i felt appropriate. I am sorry a few others have not had as an amazing experience as my children have. but others cant judge a place by the 1 or 2 who had less than favorable experiences when there are many more who have had great experiences.

Horrible. The food was HORRIBLE! The Mac n Cheese was WHITE and gooey! Also, my child was reporting almost everyday to me that kids are bullying him, the school isnt doing nothing about it, and the kid is getting away with this. I also picked my 10 year old son up from the camp once, and his CLEAN, DRY, SHORTS! DRY! WERE WET! They had been PUSHED into the pool by these kids. What ever you do, do NOT go to this abusive summer camp!

We been to several Child Care facilities in town. Some we just visited to see if we wanted to use them and others we decided on then over time they closed or we decided as our children grew to move them. Horizon Activities Center has been our best experience so far, and we really wished we selected them earlier. We were trying to stay closer to home.

Both of my children have attended Horizons North Olmsted since 2008 and our experience continues to be positive. The staff is wonderful and any issue I have ever brought up the director has been appropriately addressed.
