My parents built a home in 2000 in the Norton, Ohio area. Since then a huge crack down the side of their basement wall has formed. I was given Garretts number from a friend at work who had previously been impressed by their service. My father called and John Garrett, the owner of the business, met with my father the very next morning. He was extremely respectful, down to earth, and flat out knowledgeable. You could really tell he knew what he was talking about. What really stuck with me was the fact that Mr. Garrett, although he could have easily had my father write him a large check then and there, he gave some helpful advice, and mentioned alternative routes my father should try before spending money on repairing the foundation. You could tell he was concerned about the customer, not making a profit. FYI, compared to many other waterproofers around the area, Garretts pricing is VERY reasonable! I highly recommend this company.

We had some water in the basement and called Garrett Waterproofing. John Garrett came out the next morning and helped diagnose the issue. Ultimately, it was an above ground issue unrelated to the waterproofing work that Garretts does. John spent time with us, explained the issue, and recommended several courses of action to resolve the problem, all without charging us a penny, or trying to sell us something we dont need. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and honest!!

Mike came out to give an evaluation of a basement in a house I am selling due to FHA concerns. Very nice guy and professional, knows what hes talking about and did not charge for the evalustion. They give free estimates guys! Would definitely trust them with my basement waterproofing needs
