This is an astonishingly poor business which would be instantly destroyed if they had any competitor in town. Sometimes when I have asked for things to get a general cleaning, usually because of sweating, the garments have only been spot cleaned instead and very easy-to-get-out smirches have remained. Once the staff marked a spot on silk charmeuse with a safety pin that got pulled and damaged the fabric. Another time I attached a label identifying garment as cashmere (it had no manufacturing tag) but they overheated it or over-treated it or something, damaging the fiber and making the fabric stiffer as though it were 50 years old. The person who does alterations has no finesse and does things the fastest way while charging at rates you would expect for something done right. Just coarsely pink-cuts the edge of a hem, turns it, and machine-stitches it as though the items were costumes, instead of turning the raw edge over, pressing, and stitching the hem. Cannot do anything but the simplest fitting. Did a messy job with stretch-stitch on an knit (wads of thread left in seam, apparently from bad tension setting on the machine.) On the good side, staff are always pleasant, polite, and efficient. Many things that go wrong are not their fault.

Concur with other reviews written, particularly the comment about the owner. In all my interactions with the owner (three occassions) he was very smug, self-righteous, defensive, and didnt seem to care that I was a customer bringing him business. And when I had issues with the service rendered, he said my expectations were too high! Those simply being that there were smudges and wrinkles that appeared that werent there when I brought the shirts in. Haha! Guess I should lower my expectations?! He recleaned and repressed adequately three of the four shirts. But the fourth he would not take responsibility for and it is one of my best shirts, now ruined. It was easier to cut my losses than to try to get any compensation for the shirt from this guy. He said there is no way he could have caused the stains on my shirt that he originally said was from starch and would wash right out. He could admit no wrong-doing or even offer any type of apology. There is one other dry cleaner in town but the hours are 9-5 making it inconvenient to drop stuff off. I will deal with that small inconvenience in order to never have to use Capitol again. I would strongly recommend that everyone else do the same!

This pathetic excuse of a dry cleaner hasnt seen a good press since the 70s. Every shirt Ive ever dry cleaned has wrinkled in the left armpit and is folded over like a newspaper at the bottom. Ive contacted the owner several times and no investment has been made to fix this issue. Its like he doesnt care that hes giving back shirts that a 3 year old tried to iron. Save yourself the time and dissatisfaction and pray someone else opens an establishment that runs this hellhole out of business. I wish I could give this place zero stars.

After having cleaned a bedding set in the past, the owner dry cleaned it and ruined the set ( no color left in it). Owner took no responsibility and therefore no compensation for a complete in brand new condition set. Not a way to run a business. I would go elsewhere as the service is mediocre at best when the product isnt ruined.

Dry-cleaning was shoved into one bag. Shirts were wrinkled on the bottom and was not iron properly on sleeve. Four out of six of my shirts shrunk. Not very good I would recommend not going at all. Employees seem to be friendly .
