I was referred to Herolds by some friends after having brake issues while my husband was out of town. I called on a Monday, asking for an estimate on the job and asking how quickly they could get the job done (I was to leave on a trip with this vehicle on Wednesday). The estimate seemed like a fair price, and, yes, they could get the job done for me in a timely manner. I dropped my van off Monday evening and it was finished by Tuesday afternoon. I dealt with both Jay and Jeff; both gentlemen explained things to me and answered my many questions. I know very little about how brakes work, and they took the time to thoroughly go over what they were going to do and why they were doing it. They never seemed hurried while dealing with me. I would definitely use them again!

My car was making noise and i felt unsafe driving it. Went over there to get it checked out but they didnt want to check it because someone else worked on the car. Even though I already told them that whoever worked on it cant find the problem. They didnt even want to look at it because they didnt want to get involved. I felt completely unsafe driving it because it was making noise. They even said it would hurt their reputation if they look at. Well now I still have a car thats making noise and still feel unsafe. All because these guys didnt even look at i. Thanks for nothing. Will never go there again and will never recommend anyone over there.

Addendum: Jeff called this morning and went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I trust them and they do great work. We will continue to use them for our car care needs. "I have taken my car there several times. But now because I said I didnt remember him asking me something and questioned Jeff on a few things he is now refusing to work on any of my vehicles?! If he had explained things the way he did the second time the first time, things would be different."

Just picked up some new tires for my car today. Decent out the door price and with their savings card the alignment was cheaper than surrounding competitors. The staff was friendly and helpful, so far I am pleased with the Cooper tires they installed and would go back. They may try and up-sell you on some additional services, or make maintenance suggestions, however they were not pushy about it like other shops I have visited.

Two years ago we moved to Strongsville from Parma Heights. Yet my wife and I still drive back to Herold Family Auto & Tire to have each of our cars serviced by Jeff and Jay Herold. It is well worth the 10 mile drive, knowing that only the work that needs to be done will be done....and done properly. We have been well satisfied customers for over 20 years.

Jeff and Jay made time in their busy schedule to check out a problem with our car to make sure it was still safe to drive. I can always count on them to be honest, clearly explain what our car needs or doesnt need, do excellent work when something needs to be fixed, and give advice about what to look out for in the future.

There are 2 brothers who are polite, kind and very knowledgeable about your car u owned. I have been going to them since 3yrs and I plan to stay and have them service my car. They are honest people.
