My husband and I were married on Sunday April 15th 2012. We were previously engaged since November 2010, and our wedding ceremony and reception took place at Grand Oaks Event and Business Center, which allows you to choose from a list of about 12-15 Caterers. Initially, my husband and I had a specific budget for a certain number of guests, and we had called about 6 or 7 caterers to compare pricing. Midway through our planning, we learned that not only were we expecting a great wedding, but we were also expecting our first child together! One can imagine that the news of a baby changes many things, including a budget if you are simultaneously planning a wedding! Needless to say, we adjusted a lot of our planning, and decided that we would go from a buffet style wedding to a horsdeouvers type reception to lighten our spending. At that time, we emailed EVERY vendor on the list and explained our budget situation and what we wanted for the reception. Of all the vendors that responded, the Owner, Kevin, of PC CATERING responded to me directly and offered to provide an amazing reception package that went over and beyond what we expected. Kevin was extremely empathetic and understanding of our situation, and throughout the entire process, I always felt Kevin’s sole intention was to create a memorable experience for my husband and I, and that he did not seek to nickel and dime us. Kevin knew what we desired for our special day, and he still provided an affordable and fulfilling buffet style reception/cocktail hour that stayed well within our budget. I was so confident and appreciative of Kevin working with us, that I took a risk and did not schedule a tasting! And I place a high emphasis on RISK because everyone knows that you DO NOT PLAY with a pregnant woman’s taste buds, ESPECIALLY on her wedding day!!!!! On the day of my wedding, not only was Kevin and his crew INCREDIBLY amicable and professional, they served and complimented me and my husband if we were a King and Queen. Up until the wedding date, Kevin remained in constant communication with updated invoices whenever a change was made. Finally, the food was AMAZING!!! The salad was fresh, and I even found myself escaping the photographer to nibble on the beautiful cheese and fruit displays. My guests raved about the food, and the friendly service that was provided. My bridal party and I enjoyed the large hand rolled meatballs, Ziti, and Macaroni and Cheese, and I received many praises both during and after the wedding. At the end of the night, Kevin’s staff even prepared the extra food for us to take home (which I’ve heard many caterers do not do). Overall, the food and service was amazing, and I am extremely grateful to PC Catering for making my wedding date both affordable and memorable. THANK YOU KEVIN AND PC CATERING!!!!

STAY AWAY FROM PC EVENTS!!!! We had an awful experience with PC Events! From the start Kevin and his staff made us feel very welcome and insisted that they would be able to work with our small wedding budget. The "food tasting" day came, we tried some food and was not that impressed so we told a lady(that is no longer working there) that we would like to think about it before we give them $1000 to book it. She abruptly got up from her chair, and basically pushed us out the door. We got back, and got an email from Kevin, with him saying he heard we basically just "ate and ran". My wife told him about our uncomfortable experience, and he offered a bunch of discounts and practically begged us to book with them, so we did. We never received a payment plan from them so when they thought payment was due they would call us demanding money that day or they wouldnt be able to cater our wedding. When we asked for a signed payment plan, showing we had seen it..he sent us a non-signed copy. In fact, 3 days before CHRISTMAS they demanded $1,000. Without our consent or permission Kevin kept my wifes credit card and her fathers credit card on file and charged them both when only one payment was due without asking resulting in overdrawn bank accounts. A couple months before the wedding Kevin came to us saying what we wanted and agreed upon will no longer work for the price we agreed upon. So we had to downscale our wedding catering to heavy hor dourves while the whole time he was insisting that he was doing us a favor. When in all actuality he was forcing us to do something we didnt want to do because we had put so much money into it already. All the discounts were a lie. The day of our wedding they ran out of food, after only one table had gotten there plates, which they insisted wouldnt happen and offered food that we never agreed upon. All in all a very terrible experience. We would love to suggest finding a better caterer for your money.

PC Events & Catering were extremely easy and fun to work with. Kevin and Nancy were both helpful and easy going. They invited us in for a tasting of some options we were considering and when we got there, they immediately sat us and began bringing out sample plates of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Everything we tried was delicious... I think the hardest part was deciding what to choose! They helped us figure out the best layouts for the ceremony and reception, helped pick linens, gave suggestions on everything we needed. When the day came, their crew was on time and ready to go. They set everything up and served everyone efficiently and politely. Two servers even came and got us first, then took us through the line and insisted to make our plates for us so that we didnt get anything on our outfits, and took the plates back to our seats for us, it was impressive. Everyone had a smile and was more than willing to help with whatever we needed. We paid for a bartender and mixer package and the bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Afterwards they tore down and packed up everything they came with and left the space like they had found it. It was perfect. Theres a certain comfortability that comes with knowing you dont have to worry or think about anything like that, and you can just enjoy your special day while everything else just goes on like a perfectly planned routine. It definitely took the stress off of us and let us enjoy the moment at hand. I definitely recommend them!

PC Events recently catered a post golf outing for a group of over 30 friends that belong to a charity organization. I was thoroughly impressed, and received a number of compliments about the dinner. It was over a week ago and I still hear from the guys about how great the food was - We had high quality cut ribeye steaks grilled to order on site, with a variety of sides, everything was delicious. The staff was impressive - right on time, very efficient, and courteous to all that they came into contact with. Tom actually saw that someone from the group that needed some assistance and went out of his way to help for a couple minutes. He was very courteous and respectful of everyone, and a gentleman as well. Conversations with the Chef prior to the event lead to excellent menu choices, and a very positive review from the group. Price wise, it was not the most expensive and not the cheapest around either, but I have paid a lot more and received a whole lot less in past events. I got a few points with the boys for bringing PC in to cater the event, and they will be catering our future events going forward. Strongly recommend!!!
