We rented property through this management company and the beginning everything was going great as well as through the 6 months we lived in the rental property. We had to get a rental home while in the process of purchasing a new home and when we found our new home we went through the process of letting them know we would be moving out of the property. Our lease was for a year but knew we were responsible for the remainder of the contract term. With corresponding with Ramona Cossey, the person in charge of our rental, she informed me if a new tenant could be found I would be released from the lease. A new tenant was found but we were refused our security deposit back. We were told we would not be getting the security deposit due to terminating the lease even though she informed us we were released from it. We had every intention of maintaining the property and continuing to pay rent on time if needed for the remainder of the term of the contract so we did not terminate the lease we were released from it and a new verbal contract made. After going through the proper, legal process of requesting our deposit we were still refused. We had to seek legal help to get our deposit back. We were given our deposit back after 6 months of fighting for it. We were perfect tenants and had agreed to whatever was necessary based on moving out of the property and they were trying to take advantage of the situation and make money off of us when they were not out any expenses. The property was left in better condition than when we moved in and after requests for other things to be done after we had moved out I went back and spent hours doing their requests. This was only my second time to ever rent a property and if myself or my family ever needs to rent again we will make sure the property is not managed by this company.

This company took over my lease at my apartment in Norman. And I was CURSED to get Ramona Coosey as my landlord . I was already living there for a year without issues before she took over. Previous landlord told her verbally that I was paying month to month and carpets were never replaced or cleaned during my tenancy. Problems started when me and other roommates had problems with one of our roommates not paying his share and making lots of noise at night and we all greed he should leave the condo. We politely asked Ramona to take some action but she couldnt care less and told us to call the Police. When it came to any situation She was Super anal and very hard to deal with, like a government employee, one minor thing was off then youre in trouble. It got worse when the 7-8 year A/C system broke down during HOT summer months and she said that because I used it to much it was breaking down and if it needed to be replaced or further expensive repairs, I would be personally responsible for it due to misuse LMAO ARE YOU F*@*&! kidding me ??????? She was very hard to deal with and very condescending, NEVER flexible. Oh and the best par, I was scammed out of my $200 deposit and I was charged to clean carpet when it was clear from previous owner that I moved in to condo after carpets had been cleaned or replaced. Save yourself the stress and find another company to deal with who are much more friendlier and more customer service oriented.
